Hidden gem, close to Museum Arnhem - Edit
I’m glad I visited this new place, because the food and drinks are great and the owner is a lovely person. It’s quite a small place, but there is sufficient seating and a toilet. It’s located in a residential area, so please follow the boards on the sidewalk to find the spot. It’s quite close to Museum Arnhem, so nice for a combined visit.
Read moreThe Azuki milk tea and Hojicha black sugar coconut bubble tea were delicious and clearly fresh/homemade.
The cruffin is also a recommendation: flakey and crispy with a soft core and a creamy filling (chocolate, blueberry cream or matcha). It’s comparable to the great vegan puff pastries I’ve had in Amsterdam.
The carrot cake was nice as well: flavoursome with carrot pieces and a nice cream topping. The apple tart was tasty as well.
I also tried mochi and glutinous rice balls covered with a green herbal powder. Both had a tasty red-bean paste filling, but I liked the mochi better due to the smooth rice dough texture.

Decadent food for the soul - Edit
This is a peaceful cafe being run in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.
Read moreI had a Hojicha chai latte as recommended by the owner and it was so yummy! The milk was very light & creamy, you could taste the tea as well as the nuttiness of the spices.
I also had a vanilla blueberry cruffin. It really was amazing, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, fluffy texture with a sweet vanilla filling that was not too sweet, just perfect on the palette.
The matcha affogato is an interesting try, it was sunny today so I ordered it before going home. It was very refreshing, you could taste the tea aspects of the matcha very well since it was intentionally prepared a bit strong because its meant to be 'affogato' style. So thats an important part of the flavour profile which was great to complete the experience. This combined with the homemade vanilla ice cream made for a pleasant very unique light herbal treat.
The owner is very kind and takes extra care to ensure a positive experience.

What an amazing place - Edit
Quiet, small, cosy with the most delicious food and drinks. We had a perfect matcha latte and noodle soup. And we had to take home the matcha filled croissant and a piece of the chocolate cake.

Amazing must go - Edit
Lovely atmosphere, relaxing jazz you would find in Japan in an eatery. Best apple tart I've had in my life, best hot chocolate in my life too. Amazing chocolate filled mouse cruffin. Owner is a lovely friendly lady too. Must visit 100% recommend. #Veganuary

Very cosy Hokkaido inspired vegan kitchen - Edit
We went here for the first time today and so happy we did! What a nice and cosy place. We had beautiful teas (hojicha and matcha), tasty pastries with flaky crust and very flavourful Dan Dan ramen. You could see and taste it was all prepared with great ingredients and care. Then we still got two mochi treats to go, to eat in the nearby park. 5/5 recommend.

Tasty food in a serene atmosphere - Edit
We had a warm welcome at Atelier Giri and enjoyed delicious pastries and matcha. The Dan Dan noodles were also amazing. With a view on a vegetable garden and close to the rhine, the location a bit outside of the center of Arnhem makes the place feel like a hidden gem.
