Ordered a vegan plate (I think it's the same as the vegetarian plate, but I specified that I wanted it vegan, don't know if that's necessary). Very delicious food. Super friendly staff. Nice seating options inside and outside. Would recommend.

The food was delicious, I took the vegetarian platter, which is a mix of different sauces with traditional sour pancakes.

They could improve communication on veganism by clearly indicating vegan items on the menu.

Can’t miss this place in Lyon! - Edit
We had never tried ethiopian food before, so we got the mixed veggie dish for 2 and loved it! Plenty of flavours and a touch of spice. We barely finished it all, it was so much food (so go woth an empty belly). We also had the samosas which were some of the best I ever tried!

The mixed plate for 2 persons is more than enough! Different tastes, colours and ingedients are perfect for a varied food experience.

Enjoyed a great evening; the food not only looks but also tasted great, Asmara introduced me to some new tastes, the staff is very friendly and funny, and the price very reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend having dinner here when in Lyon!

I highly recommend to stop by on your visit in Lyon. The food is delicious and the kitchen will even cook extra dishes for vegan customers. The staff is very friendly and well informed about veganism. Yet, there is a downside, unfortunately they serve meat😡

Beautiful food, the friendliest staff, and just a really lovely atmosphere! A whole page of vegetarian options which are all vegan! The portions are incredible, and the assortment platter is gorgeous - it was the first time I had tried Ethiopian/Eritrean food and it won’t be the last (would give 5 stars but I can’t as the place serves meat!)

I had a mixed plate with the veggie options injera (crepe) and everything was very tasty. Would be even better going with more people to share different starters too.
Read moreAlso it's more affordable compared to the restaurants in Lyon. I paid 15€ for the mixed plate but there are main dishes for 10€.
