Good Sandwich. They put a sweet cookie in my guacamole sandwich for some reason which was surprising.

The biggest cake slices ever - Edit
A spacious vegan café/bakery. Honestly, looking at pictures online, I wasn't sure if it would be that good (the breads looked very average) but this place really took me by surprise. The iced caramel choco latte is one of the best choco lattes I've ever had, but do be warned it is super sweet. Both the chocolate and victoria cakes were tasty (chocolate was my favourite) and by far the biggest slices I've seen at a café before – sharing one piece with two people is more than enough.
Read moreThe plain breads looked unspectacular. I did get a sandwich though and can only recommend it. It was loaded with mushrooms and a good brunch option. Would come back!
Pros: very generous portions

Ciabatta variety in Seoul - Edit
Stopped by Asheville Bakery Café in Seoul and was excited by the variety of ciabatta bread options. I went with the onion garlic one, but honestly, it wasn’t anything special — a bit underwhelming. I paired it with the tomato soup and a side salad, which were both simple and decent, but nothing that really stood out.
Read moreIt’s a nice place to stop by if you’re in the area and want something light, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.
Pros: Lots of breads
Cons: Not as many sweets or deserts available

Secret spot, My kind of Coffee, and more - Edit
Ashville Bakery was red. Yes red. Fo and check 😝 The coffee was rich flavored, and the the dessert I had was not so sweet which is good for me. I understand their biz stratedgy not telling V or plant-based but wish to see it more proudly to educate people. Next time, I would love to visit to eat foods there too.

Cafe was very open and clean. The staff were friendly and spoke English. There were about 10 bread/ciabatta to choose between and was a mix between sweet and savory.

Enjoyed the coffee and food, the staff is very nice and helpful. The area the cafe is in is a bit quieter than the rest of the village.

Cozy spot with great vibes - Edit
It's in a really nice area with such a good vibe. We arrived right after 4pm, so only the bakery and cakes were available (no soup or sandwiches by then), but everything we tried was tasty! I’d definitely like to come back earlier to try more of their menu.

One of my favorite go-to cafes in Seoul - Edit
I’ve started to default to this cafe whenever I can’t decide what to eat for breakfast or lunch! Their menu is limited but all very yummy. My favorite of the sandwiches is definitely the avocado, it’s absolutely fantastic. I get the vanillabean latte every time, it’s very sweet.
Read moreThey do close food orders a little early (4pm) so it’s only good for breakfast or lunch, but it’s still a great option. I’ve only tried one of their cakes (Devil’s Cake) as I typically never have room for dessert, but it was lovely. The staff are really sweet. It’s a great place to sit and do some work.
Their tomato soup is also delicious - very different from the American tomato soup I’m used to. The rice yogurt is great too, it’s a unique taste, both tart and sweet. If you can visit this place multiple times to try their whole menu, I would do so!

Great for Breakfast/Brunch - Edit
If you're in for bread for breakfast, this is a great place. For our first visit we had one set with ciabatta, tomato soup, and salad with a other walnut/peas ciabatta. We also tried the guacamole sandwich. The bread is soft but well-made and very tasty. The soup was just right, the salad was good. The sandwich was tasty as well.
Read moreOn the second visit, we had the blueberry spread and pistachio cake. Both were delicious but almost too sweet at the end. The spreads at the counter are enough for two ciabattas.
Kind staff, nice location, spacious interior. The drinks could use less ice and paper cups for the free water are not very sustainable.
