Excellent falafel and koshari, several vegan options

A nice surprise right outside the shenagawa station. Use google maps vs apple, unless you want to walk a longer 🤣. It is on the outside edge of the Tokyo national gymnasium across from the train station entrance.

We arrrive around 220
Pm and they serve lunch until 3:00 pm despite website saying lunch until 2:00 pm. That was fine though.

irst time for Koshari for my husband and he loved it. I had veggie plate I think it was called. Falafel, hummus - two types, salad, naan, vegan meat of some sort. Falafel, naan , both hummus and salad delicious, vegan meat so-so.

The broth they served tasted like chicken broth to me despite it
being part of vegan meal selection. So I would avoid that. The hostess said “pretty sure” no animal products.

Beautiful place, pleasant service. A few vegan choices. I would definitely go again.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere , Menu available in English

Cons: Question the chicken broth?

Spacious, convenient location, and calm neighbourhood

I am so glad to find this place because it is so hard to have meals with non-vegan people in Japan. I went to this restaurant with international friends. Western friends told me they did not feel enough spice but it was totally fine for Japanese people.

Finding English menus took some time, and we would have appreciated more detailed explanations of each dish, as Middle Eastern cuisine can be unfamiliar to some.

The staff members were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. However, someone attempted to use the prayer space to change their baby's diaper.

They changed the diaper in front of the bathroom after all but I think it would be more considerate to have a sign for the benefit of Japanese guests. And a screen for the baby's privacy, if possible. :-)

Pros: Spacious!, I could choose from some vegan menus♡, Separating checks was very easy!

Cons: The music volume could have been a bit lower
