Serves meat, vegan options available. Pizza restaurant offering vegan pizzas like marinara, fried pizzas and other vegetarian pizzas without cheese. Open Mon-Sat 10:00-23:00.
Closed Sun.
They had two vegan options (basically pizza dough with tomatoes) or you could try a non-vegan pizza without cheese.
I had the marinara rustica and it was very tasty! The server seemed a bit bored and uninterested, but maybe that's just the Italian way. They were friendly anyway.
This is a restaurant with plenty of indoor seating (first floor) but you must go inside through the kitchen to find the stairs to the upper level. They usually have a long queue upfront due to their popular take-out options. I had a fried pizza with endive lettuce and black olives (“Pizza Fritta con Scarole”) without the dairy cheese. The dough was fluffy without being too greasy. The ingredients work well but it lacked creaminess, even though it is very tasty. This is a valid option for vegans to try a Neapolitan fried pizza. The staff messed up the order even though we communicated in Italian and repeated the order several times. My carnivore friend received a fried pizza without cheese because of their own mistake.
