Lovely spot to chill! - Edit
I came here to have breakfast and saw that there were two vegan food options- avocado or hummus with salad garnishing a on sourdough bread. Note that all bread in Mexico is NOT vegan unless sourdough or specially made bread which Arte Sano has for their dishes.
Read moreI opted for the avocado toast which was a generous portion and beautifully presented. I enjoyed my Americano with coconut milk. I asked if there were other vegan food options and they had a mini Orange loaf which was moist and delicious!

They had a couple vegan options. I had an avocado toast which was very good, they put a lot of avocado on it, tomato and salad. I would have loved some hummus with it but it was good nevertheless. Bit expensive for Mexican standards but I would do it again!

Si echas de menos un buen café, clandestino es tu lugar. Tienen bebidas vegetales de soja, almendras y coco. Además tostadas veganas (aguacate o crema de almendras con fruta), frutas varias, batidos y smoothies y tartas veganas también!

Best cafe in Holbox - Edit
No doubt the best coffee & vibe in Holbox! Their vegan GF pecean pie is delicious and the staff is so friendly! They have 2 locations. Clandestino and "another clandestino" , the 2nd one is bigger and closer to the beach. Definitely worth a breakfast or brunch stop!

Great coffee - Edit
On an island with limited vegan options, this place was a very nice find— great coffee options with a number of plant based mills, and a delicious avocado toast as well. The staff knew what vegan meant, and accepted credit cards (also not true everywhere on the island). All in all was very happy to find this place.
