Great vegan spot in Brum! - Edit
So happy to have a fully vegan cafe in Birmingham.
Read moreBeen here a few times as it's close to where I work and the food never disappoints. The menu is small but I think that just shows everything is made fresh.
I've had the tofu focaccia, which is amazing and a must try! Also had the falafel wrap and both were generously filled. They offer really good portion sizes for the price. I don't have photos of these as I'm always too eager to eat!
Recently had the cinnamon bun and pumpkin spice latte and both were great. Will always recommend this place! 👍🏻

Delicious food and lovely staff - Edit
Possibly the best dirty chai I've ever had, super sweet and creamy! I ate in which was quiet but a lovely vibe in the café. The breakfast burrito was amazing, the tofu scramble in particular was perfect and so full of flavour. I also got some cookies to takeaway, the triple chocolate in particular was gooey and up there with the best. Extra shout out to the lovely, friendly staff

Alterna - Edit
Alterna café offers a good selection of pastries, cookies, and cooked options, along with a varied drinks menu. I ordered the chick’n and avocado wrap with a chai latte — the wrap came toasted, generously filled, and served with a side of crisps.
Read moreI couldn’t resist trying something sweet before leaving and picked up a pecan cookie to go. I’m usually more of a cake person, but these cookies are outstanding — definitely worth trying!
The café has a few tables downstairs near to the counter, with a larger seating area upstairs that’s bright and spacious. Really relaxed vibe. There’s on-street paid parking (although it’s free on Sundays.)

Super! - Edit
We came here for breakfast yesterday, they were accommodating to my nut allergy and removed the nut butter from the granola. Cute playlist and nice girls serving us! The pancake texture was so peng.

A great find well worth a visit. - Edit
We’re not in the jewellery quarter very often, so when the opportunity to stop in for lunch presented itself, we were thrilled to find a vegan only option. We had focaccia sandwiches (buffalo chicken and tofu). Both were a great size and came with crisps too. We added a side of hash browns as well. Don’t really need them, but glad to have had them as they were delicious. Might have to venture this way more often!

Incredible - Edit
Found this spot as it was open early and I needed to do work on my laptop. Very chill vibe and lots of space upstairs to work. Had a focaccia sandwich for lunch and it was incredible! Could have had 5 of them! Had a lemon raspberry chocolate cookie to go and it was insanely good. Must go!

Lovely - Edit
We visited twice while staying in Birmingham. It really helped that they were open early as we had trains to catch both days. We picked the granola both days to avoid waiting for any cooking (once takeaway, once sit in) and it was perfect. We also grabbed a muffin and a cookie to go, which were both amazing! Wish we’d had more time to work our way through the menu and baked treats.

Goated place - Edit
For lack of a better word to describe how impressed I was at this cafe, it was GOATED. They serve really good drinks, and a nice selection of smoothies. The food was brilliant, somewhat standard selection, but with a little twist. The Empanadas were very nice, with whole wheat pastry. And they have board games. These are kind of vegan establishments we neeed more of.
