Yummy! - Edit
The service was wonderful! I dined at a window table. I loved the dedicated vegan menu page. It did show honey listed as being on some dishes - I didn’t ask about that. I had the Mollete - which was really good! It came with black beans and not refried beans as listed. I had the breakfast potatoes as a side - was offered that it tots as included options. I really enjoyed my meal! I wanted the vegan fruit tart for dessert, but they didn’t have it. The restrooms were a bit dysfunctional - only one bathroom stall working; the other one’s door would not close, and only 1/2 soap dispensers working. Payment: they charge more to use a credit card and the tip suggestions are based on food plus tax, and not food, so adjust accordingly. I found street parking for free (after 6pm) about 10 minutes walk. It’s directly on the Riverwalk, so in a lovely location. Lots of items to try on the menu, so worth another visit!

Late night vegan options on the Riverwalk - Edit
We were pretty hungry and looking for a vegan option on the Riverwalk. We were happy to find Alamo Biscuit Company, a restaurant with a separate vegan menu we could order from. I ordered the nachos, but they were out of some ingredients, so I ultimately tried the vegan all day breakfast. It was pretty basic fare, with Just Eggs and Beyond Sausage, but it hit the spot. I would eat there again and try some of their other offerings.

Ho hum food. Worse service - Edit
We came to this place drawn by the vegan menu. We arrived in mid afternoon. It was very slow. Our waitress was not very informative about the menu. The service was extremely slow. We could see her chatting with other staff and goofing around, but not actually following through with bringing us food or even the check when it was time.
Read moreThe food itself wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t anything to write home about. I would characterize the primary taste as salty. We probably won’t be back. It’s too bad because this could be a decent place.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
I appreciate so many vegan options right next to the hotel where I'm staying. The "vegan all day" plate was a good vegan brunch. Another day I had the quinoa bowl which was plainer than I expected.

Good breakfast - Edit
We had the vegan all day breakfast. It was full of protein, the potatoes were delicious, and the jam was super yummy. The biscuit was overly salty but still ate 1/2. Coffee wasn’t great but they did have oat, soy, and coconut milk options.
