I can't put zero star since the system won't allow me but I would. The food was not good. The place was cold (bright Green), like a fast food restaurant that only does delivery. Only few table inside, bright light.

The staff doesn't speak English but will understand what you have to order.

Entirely vegan restaurant with cute interior! Though the food and service were a completely disappointment. Out food was not hot when we got it and they gave us no plates or cutlery - we had to ask them ourselves. I hate to say it but the food was not good AT ALL unfortunately. If you come here do not order the double melt.

Too expensive, the portions were small, as you dont feel full you need to ask more what make more expensive the food. The good thing was that the place was ease to find and centric. We were there two times one after 15 pm when we just arrived to Rio, the other time was a wednesday att 12:00 pm in the middle of our tour and the restaurant was closed. So we walked some blocks till Spazziano vegan restaurant where we ate good amount for a fix price what end up being cheaper.

It’s a small restaurant with around 8 sits, all vegan options very close to the beach. We had the double burger and the vegan feijoada, both tasty. The already prepared “tapas” were delicious.Recommended!

Had high expectations unfortunately was greatly disappointed. We ordered a vegan melt and hot dog. The burger was soggy and hot dog didnt taste of anything. Judging by the noise from the kitchen all the ingredients were microwaved. On a more positive note, their jackfruit and spinach coxinhas were quite pleasant. Would not come back though.

We came there an hour after opening but most options from the menu were not available. The waitress was not helpful (maybe it’s because we didn’t speak Portuguese very well) which made the whole experience very unpleasant. Shitake balls sandwich was tasty.

Went there for lunch during my holidays in Rio. Has been eating really nice and delicious but this was such a let down. Expensive, small size dishes and food tasted as if it all the ingredients were industrialised.

Con mi pareja comimos dos hamburguesas y estaban deliciosas y muy bien preparadas, aunque el tamaño era algo pequeño con relación al precio. La calidad es excelente. Los precios son algo elevados, pero se debe tener en cuenta que el local se encuentra ubicado en Ipanema. ¡Es una opción recomendable!

I've known Açougue Vegano for a long time, they have very good foods, both frozen to take home and to eat there, from the classic brazilian "Coxinha" to hamburguer and sandwiches. To take out, some vegan sausages, hamburguers, shitake balls, and coxinhas in packs. I really recommend for a quick bite.
