Loved the clear vegan options and i was specifically in the mood for falafel. We got the vegan lunch set with falafel. Salad was fresh, bread fluffy and falafels crunchy. It's on level B1.

Good option for a quick lunch around Umeda - Edit
This is a branch of the popular restaurant Cafe Absinthe in Ame-mura.
Read moreThere are surprisingly few options for a vegan meal around Umeda, so I'm grateful to now have this option a short distance from Osaka Station. It's located in the busy basement restaurant floor of the KITTE building.
There are two clearly marked vegan options on their lunch menu: the "vegan lunch" set with falafels, pita bread, salad and hummus; and the "vegan kebab" set.
They also offer takeout options, but I didn't check the takeout menu to see what vegan options they had.
I had the vegan lunch set. The falafels were a little on the dry side but the salad was fresh and flavourful and the hummus nice and creamy.
The price felt a little on the high end for lunch, but prices are increasing everywhere and it's in the city center, so I suppose it's to be expected.
All in all, I'd recommend it for a quick, healthy lunch when you're out shopping around Umeda, but I'm not sure I'd recommend going out of your way just to eat here.
