Solid coffee and banana bread

Really good coffee, they’ve got coconut milk too which I love in a latte. They have vegan banana bread and man is it amazing! It’s also super chill and the staff are really friendly. Would easily send friends to check this place out! It’s got a great community vibe about it, people just wandering up to their open window with their dogs and ordering coffee. It’s a lovely spot and hidden away!

Pros: Vegan banana bread, Great coffee, Friendly staff

Cons: Not a lot of seating

Best coffee in Hove

For someone who’s a big coffee lover this place is brilliant! Deep chocolatey flavour. I haven’t tried any of the snacks yet but they do have some vegan options.

Great sausage roll

The vegan sausage roll (think it’s lentils for the filling) was great! Really tasty and e pastry was lovely. Also really good coffee!

Best in area

This cafe is really small and cozy but they have decent options for vegans from local suppliers.

They had vegan sausage rolls from Croque Shop in the city as well as homemade vegan banana bread and dairy free granola bars and Oreo tiffins. They had limited food so was nice to see so many options for vegans.

They also had great selection of alternative milks - all the best ones including Japanese Bonsoy, Oatly and an American almond milk which worked really well with the coffee.

I’m a regular here and always enjoy trying their new options. They do an iced oat latte with maple syrup that is the best I’ve had.

Pros: Good choice in alternative milks, Multiple vegan food options , Cozy

Cons: No cooked food

Sausage roll

Only tried the sausage roll and it was bland and stodgy. I didn’t enjoy it much .

I'm sorry you didn't like the roll. As a small business that's just up the road from us offering vegan toasties it is a shame you're not more supportive of us trying to offer vegan options - its a community we're in together and negative reviews don't help anyone. We don't have a kitchen so have to buy everything in, but try to offer a selection as best as can - when food isn't our primary offering. All the best with your venture.

Coffee and cake

Really cute place with nice coffee (Square Mile ) and a range of nd milks including the coveted Oatly barista. They also have several vegan cakes like tiffin and the same sausage rolls as Small Batch/flourpot
