Excellent - Edit
Stopped into this place with driving from Massachusetts to Oregon. Was really excited to find a vegan spot on the way going through Indianapolis. The bbq burger I had was great and they really have a comfort food kinda vibe here. All family run too! If I'm ever back in this area again, I'll be sure to go back.

Vegan quick serve in Indy - Edit
You can get a healthy vegan meal here, but I almost always choose vegan junk food- because they do it so well! Everything is made in-house and their vegan cheeses are amazing! Free parking makes your visit easy

Great vegan stop in Indy! - Edit
We love this place. Hard for us not to order the submarine they offer. We have order up most of what they have to offer and you can not go wrong. Outside of their sub their chicken pot pie stood out along with chorizo chimmy.
Read moreThey have specials that rotate. My girlfriend has really enjoyed their diner donuts. Although I have not tried it they recently had a chicken chimmy option as well.
Easy to find just off of 70. Staff is friendly with fast turn around on your orders. Perhaps the fastest vegan joint I have came across with getting your food to you!
If you have not been so yourself a favor and pay them a visit!
Pros: Great food, Specials!!, Friendly staff
Cons: Distance from my house

Love their seitan and potato salad! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly. I try to get here once a week because I love the food and the fact that there is a vegan restaurant on the east side of Indy!

Indy Vegan "Oasis" just off expressway - Edit
Chicken pot pie tasted like nostalgia and was very hearty. Wish there was more puff pastry crust than the pretty decorative disc on top because it tastes great with that huge bowl of filling. Potato salad was great and husband loved the submarine sandwich. Mom's veggie burger looked burnt (not appetizing) but didn't taste burnt. "House" chips didn't taste or look homemade. We guess they're store bought tortilla rounds with a homemade Doritos ranch powder. Lasagna was sold out so we didn't get to try it. Decor was great from the dining room to the restrooms. On a funny note, there were about 6 Priuses in the parking lot!

Way too processed and lacking nutrients for my liking - Edit
Let me just say first off I'm super happy to have a vegan restaurant on the east side of Indy. But after eating here I felt a total gut bomb. I struggled with the menu because everything is processed soy &/or bread/pasta. If you are gluten-free you will not find options here. Not everyone wants imitation modified soy products ( the health risks of these kinds of products is pretty well documented). Eating healthy nutrient dense food is important for me and on this point it completely missed the mark. This place seems to be catering to converting mainstream SAD eaters but not to the crowd that actually cares about what they're putting in their body. I got the taco salad and there was nothing healthy on there- fake meat crumbles, jarred salsa, iceberg lettuce (I mean seriously who even uses iceberg anymore?!), and a cheezy sauce, all on fried tortilla chips. Nothing even seemed to be non-GMO which is just bare minimum to me. My SAD eating parents enjoyed their food....because it was fake meat covered in unhealthy sauces. Like I said, just catering to a different crowd. I really hope they can get some fresher food in here, some better quality ingredients, etc. How about some fresh veggies and some natural protein options - beans, lentils, hemp hearts, nuts--- they didn't have any of this, which is just ridiculous to me in this day and age. There are so many good options out there, why limit it to processed junk?

Love it and will be back - Edit
Everything was delicious!! We got the chili cheese fries, chorizo chimichanga, pot pie, and the apple crisp. The kitchen is open to the rest of the room, so you can watch everything get cooked made to order right in front of you. The woman at the front and the cook behind the bar making our food were both cool people who helped us feel right at home. We were so insanely full, happy, and will be back without a doubt. This restaurant is fairly new (opened 6 months ago), but I bet they'll be around for years to come.

Thanks to Happy Cow for pointing me to this place while visiting Indianapolis. My omnivore friend joining me was impressed. Fried brussel sprouts were to die for! Chorizo chimichanga was fantastic, and the portobello Reuben spot on. Will be back before I leave town!

100% vegan. The 4 of us ordered different items and we were all very happy. Owner and crew prep almost all the dishes themselves. Can't go wrong with this place! They also have good craft beer in the frig.

Cute diner with yummy foods - Edit
This place is always worthy of a visit, but if it's a busy night downtown for a weekend or an event, this place is further out and you will have no trouble parking. Have been a few times and everything has been good. The lasagna has a great sauce and seems to sell out a lot. The reuben was great as well. Tasty strawberry lemonade and a variety of baked treats.
