I've been into macrobiotics since 1970, have not eaten any animal food in over 40 years. I have been cooking healthy vegetarian/macrobiotic cuisine for many people for a long time. I had two restaurants one in Philadelphia, Mary's Restaurant, where we won "Best of Philly" for healthy cuisine. Also Bridges's Restaurant in Ocean City, NJ. I have plenty of experience cooking for many people using whole grains, beans, fresh vegetables, seeds, healthy breads, fermentation, and more. I have studied with many macrobiotic teachers including Naboro Muramoto, Cornellia Aihara, Lima Ohsawa, Michio and Aveline Kushi, Judy Waxman and more. I have cooked for many people with degenerative illnesses, including Anthony Sattilaro who wrote Recalled by Life. I am now working toward sharing my experiences with cooking and remembering all that I have learned from so many great teachers who can now only be remembered through their books and first hand reminincing. I am opening my home to share a closer experience for those who would like to really learn how to cook with whole foods.
