Since January 2011 I have followed a Plant Based diet. I try to make it whole food, but still use olive oil and occasionally consume a baked good that likely has dairy. I started this at age 60 after a long restaurant career in non-vegan restaurants. I am new to Happy Cow as of this writing, August 2022. I live in the U.S., am from Chicago, IL, lived in Minnesota 14 years, Kansas 30 years, and in 2021 my wife and I moved to Rye, NY to be closer to kids and grandkids. I like to cook plant based menu items and have a 10' x 10' section of our residential garden where I grow vegetables.
