Hopeful vegan; i.e., I am trying mightily but keep failing. But I also keep trying. And not simply vegan - but trying to be a low-fat, low salt vegan. In other words, I am doing this for health reasons. While I respect those concerned with animals and their suffering, I do this mainly to save one animal - me.
