I am retired and happily married. We live in Anthem Arizona. I teach a primary class at our church. I have been plant based for almost three months, because I was diagnosed as having diabetes. I am working with my doctor to reverse my diabetes, by eating a Whole Foods Plant Based diet. He is becoming informed about WFPB by my decision to eat this way, and he watched the Fork Over Knives documentary. My husband is very supportive and he follows this way of eating too, yet not as strict right now. He has lost over 30lbs and I have lost 37, which is a plus. I use to lift heavy weights for 10 years, I stopped when Covid happened. I will get back after summer, for now I Tai Chi run in our pool. I also run outside when not so hot out. Plus have a Treadmill at home, which our little Chiweenie, Hailey loves to walk on. We have five grown children that live in different states, and one that lives in Phoenix. I have several friends who are plant based and very helpful.
