I've had vegetarian inclinations since age 3 and was mostly (95-98%) vegetarian up until age 30. I evolved to 100% vegetarian in 2007. By 2011, I evolved further, to about 75-90% vegan. I'm working on become more vegan; one thing I definitely avoid is cheeses of unknown origin (i.e., likely made with animal rennet from the stomachs of veal calves). I also avoid dairy-milk lattes. A kind vegan woman in France once told me, "There's more suffering in a glass of milk than a pound of steak," and that's something that's always stuck with me. The dairy and egg industries create enormous suffering for the beings they enslave and mistreat.
