I am a medical philosopher and clinical ethicist and worked for over 40 years as an associate professor clinical ethics at the University Hospital Rotterdam. Since January 2024 I am retired. Furthermore I am an ornithologist working honorary in the Natural History Museum Rotterdam as an ethical taxidermist. We are 100% vegan in our food choices, but we wear e.g. leather shoes and belts as they are more durable and environment-friendly than the less durable plastic sneakers and 'vegan' fake-leather products. Furthermore I wear 100% woolen vintage tailor-made British suits, usually more than 40-50 years old.
