Thank you ScoialLlama for responding, I can sense the passion and integrity you have towards your business. My heart goes out to you and those that also struggle with lactose intolerance. That's a tricky one because I have meat eating friends that can't even go out for pizza without complaining. But I love any ethical business that comes from a good heart. In the past, I would support any and all of them I came across. Unfortunately, businesses are not always run strictly by ideals. Whether it's an ice cream shop or a vegetarian restaurant, for me, it's not worth the inevitable problems I'll face when served the wrong thing - or served the right thing wrongly (same ice cream scoop or pizza cutter used). Cooks get rushed, people get nervous, c'est la vie. That's why I've stopped blaming others than myself. It's your business choice. Personally, I no longer trust dishwashing techniques or attention to detail that places struggle with when it comes to cross contamination. For the past three or four years I only eat at fully vegan establishments if not at home. The way I see it, anyone can eat delicious food without animal products, so the idea of a 'vegan options' vegetarian restaurant doesn't really make a it different from any others. Eggs is no less disturbing as dairy foods, in my opinion. The Marsala Platter sounds amazing but unfortunately I won't get to try it. Thanks again for acknowledging my comment. Best wishes
