Hi. I’m Elsa and I’m the bar manager at Manto. I’m sorry you felt mistreated, but it was not a comfortable situation for us either. We take pride in what we do and we have many years of experience in drinks and food. I have been working in the bar for 10+ years. When a guest complains on the all the prices, complains that a drink is too bitter when it’s a gin&tonic (that is how it’s supposed to be) and asks multiple waitresses to remove a perfectly fine drink from the bill, we get very frustrated. We did not feel apreciated or respected. This drink is very popular and all other guests love it. But gin&tonic is not for everyone, we get that. We also know how a gin&tonic is supposed to taste. We do not give discounts because of personal preference, as we told you during your visit. That i not bad service, that is just being fair ans respectful to the craft. You have the right to your opinion, and you might think we gave you bad service. But sometimes the service is reflected depending on how the guests are treating the staff aswell.
