So you regularly eat out without tipping? You SHOULD be called out on your rudeness. That's just unbelievable. The only reason EVER to not tip is for bad service- VERY bad service. And FYI - Most restaurants don't add mandatory gratuity onto the bill except for large parties. I'm sure your waiter assumed that you would have been a decent enough person to leave a tip without having it added to your bill. If you can't afford to eat out, then eat at home.
