Beautiful community vibes - Edit
Loved everything about this place! Firstly the food was absolutely delicious! The chickpea and potato curry and the peanut stew were highlights, and the plantain! The food was super flavourful and the staff were so kind!! It was our lucky day because they gifted us with some free iced teas and a jar of Branston pickle- (promotional) but super lovely- a random act of kindness that we will be passing on. Can tell that this place is a place of generosity and community. Love it, please support them, it’s seriously delicious!

Tasty, wholesome and affordable - Edit
Really enjoyed the various stews we tried and the fried rice was so tasty! Wholesome, homely food with generous portion sizes and affordable prices (for London). Friendly and attentive staff. Only downside was that the sides (especially the plantain) seemed to have been cooked a while ago so they were quite dry but as the place seems new it might just be because they are learning how to cook the right amount for the demand. Would go again!

Best restaurant ever! - Edit
Everything we ordered was super delicious. Especially the peanut stew and stir fry noodles were outstanding. Even the water was extraordinary tasty. Then we got desserts – brownie and velvet cake. AMAZING! Best cake I ever had. The owners are so nice and friendly. Great people and awesome cooks. Highly recommendable!

Don't miss this! - Edit
An amazing selection of food (there are additional options to what's shown on the counter). Staff was really helpful explaining all the options and even gave us a few little freebies (ice tea and moisturiser). The food itself was incredible, I wish I could have tried even more. Make sure to try one of the hot sauces as well!

Some of the BEST food in all of London - Edit
Firstly, the staff was SO kind. The owner, who clearly puts so much dedication into his food and the vegan message is wonderful. It felt like home here. And the FOOD- I got the £10 platter with a “little” bit of everything... it was MASSIVE and delicious. My fav part was all the pumpkin, sweet potato and chickpeas, and then def the soya chunk stew and those DUMPLINGS! Oh man. I can’t wait to come back when I return to London!

Fantastic food, lovely people - Edit
I had such a wonderful meal here and the people were so friendly. I very much look forward to going back there. The variety of food changes every day, I had two kinds of stews (one with spinach and one with soy) with plantain and yummy dumplings. They also sell delicious juices (I tried the tamarind-cranberry, and there was lime-sugarcane as well) . Great value for money, I very much look forward to go back.

Friendly yummy food - Edit
This is a small cafe with quirky seating inside the old indoor market in Peckham. The staff were really friendly and the food was great. You have different choices of container size - £10, £8, £6 or £4 - which include different numbers of dishes. I took the £4 pot with 3 choices of dish. All of them were really yummy. I also had a spinach dumpling with their homemade chilli sauce, which is delicious if you like your spice!

Hostile to allergy sufferers! - Edit
I was really excited to try this place but the staff - including the chef - refused to tell me which dishes have soya, instead insisting that everything there was made with soya sauce. There was a tray of chips on offer, for pete's sake! When I pressed for more detail, they then said that even if everything wasn't made with soya sauce there could be cross-contamination. When I said that traces weren't an issue for me, they still refused to tell me what food had soya sauce and what didn't. Seriously?! I was so disappointed considering all of the rave reviews about the food and service. There are many fine Caribbean eateries in Southeast London where you can get delicious vegan home cooking and better service; the area is not short on alternatives. I would give this place only 1 star if Happy Cow would allow it.
