Solid - Edit
Got the bbq jackfruit pizza and friend got the SPO. Both were good I liked hers better and she liked mine better. We got the half nachos as an appetizer and it was huge. The whole nachos is a meal for 2 people so be aware. She got the strawberry lemonade which she liked very much and we got the carrot cake which was ok-we got it to go and it fell apart and kind of melted on the walk back.

Great Pizza 🍕 - Edit
My husband tried the Tandoori Tacos, Buffalo Ranch Pizza, and Peruvian Veggie Stir Fry. The tacos weren’t our favorites, but the pizza and stir fry were both delicious. We would consider coming back for the pizza as I could tell it was made from scratch.

Hit or miss - Edit
Two meals in a week. First was five star. Second was three, or less.
Read moreLast night was the not so good experience. A wait to place drink order, and no offer for a drink. The dip wasn’t really a dip. The place was dead, one table when we left. We were pretty bummed as last week the experience was amazing. Server was kind and welcoming and all the food we ordered was delish.
These days I am more particular on my comments and expectations, especially when spending almost $100 for a meal for two.
We would most likely not return.
Pros: Food
Cons: Hit or miss service, Some food items not served as described

vegan and gluten free! - Edit
kitchen is both vegan and gluten free, but definitely doesn’t lack any flavor. stuffed mushrooms were FANTASTIC, shakshuka was tasty (but quite spicy!!! 🌶️), and the breakfast plate with pancakes, just egg, and the sauzage were delicious as well

Nice vegan option - Edit
It’s nice to have a vegan bar and somewhere a little more upscale than other veg restaurants. We got the tandoori tacos and birria tacos. The tandoori tacos were good but the birria tacos were a little one note and pretty salty. It’s also a little on the expensive side.

Delicious and fully vegan! - Edit
Zest is a wonderful option for vegans! It's great to have allergy friendly vegan restaurants around here! I love the atmosphere. Dining in is nice and I have had a great experience with the staff. I have tried these items:
Read moreStuffed mushrooms
Jalapeño poppers
Cheese biscuits
Chips with salsa and guacamole
Pasta of the day (broccolini alfredo)
Thai Sunrise
Salted caramel chocolate hazelnut tart
Everything I have had has been delicious. The Jalapeño poppers were a little more bland than I expected but were still good. The pesto sauce with the mushrooms and cheese biscuits is amazing.

Cute downtown spot - Edit
Great place for cocktails and good variety on their menu. I had the lunch entree of pasta with summer vegetables. It had a cream sauce that was tasty and a great variety of veggies.
Read moreJust a heads up that their online menu on their website doesn't match their QR code menu at the restaurant. I was super bummed as both items I wanted to order, I couldn't order. So be prepared that you might have to revise your plan.

Cute and tasty! - Edit
I liked this place. The staff was super fun and chill, and the place had a good vibe. We came for lunch, which has a pretty limited menu, though, so there were a lot of things that we weren’t able to try. I had the protein greens salad and my partner had the nachos, and we shared 50/50, so got to enjoy both. I liked everything!
Read moreWe were a little bummed that specials were only at dinner, which starts at 4pm. The small lunch menu is the only reason this is four stars. Maybe dinner is a little more robust, but you can’t view the dinner menu off the QR code at lunchtime.
Some other reviews called it expensive but I found it really reasonable. For the salad and nachos our bill was $25. But I’m not local to the area and this was my first meal here, so maybe I’m more adjusted to cities with generally higher price tags across the board. I thought $25 was fair.

I loved the chocolate hazelnut dessert. I found protein lacking on the menu. As a long-time vegan, I look for tofu, seitan, beans, etc. but didn’t see much that appealed. I got the pizza, it was ok.

Enjoyed a meal here with my daughters while in town, and we loved it. We should have diversified, but we shared stuffed mushrooms, all had grilled cheese with soup, and we shared a big piece of chocolate cake that I’m still salivating over days later.
