Tasty and good mix - Edit
We had the menu of the day that consisted of a vegetable soup, drink and main plate. The soup was full of veg and with the right amount of salt. The main plate was a reasonable size and consisted of vegetables in a sauce. For $1.75 more you can also have a glass of kombucha. Lots of space and seating. The place was hot inside though. Fast and pleasant service.

Modern, upscale interior with prompt service. I had the Mexican lasagne, which, as the name suggests, was an Italian/Mexican fusion. It was a little odd having a layer of black beans in the lasagne, tortilla instead of pasta and corn chips on the side, but it tasted absolutely fantastic. It could be ordered vegetarian or vegan and their vegan cheese sauce was wonderful - just wish there was more of it!

Very good food and service - Edit
I thought the food here was quite good, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant itself is attractive inside and out and it's located in a nice neighborhood. I had the meal of the day, which today came with a bowl of spinach soup followed by the main plate with three items and a glass of tea and a small brownie for dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in Cuenca.

Tenía mucho tiempo queriendo probar algo que tuviera Yaca (Jackfruit) y por fin lo pude hacer en este lugar. Pedí la hamburguesa que tenía la yaca estilo Pulled Pork y estaba riquísima. Me encantó la textura "pollosita" que tenía y el sabor del BBQ estaba on point.

I have been craving lasagna and amazing vegan desserts and my visit to YuA gave me all of that and great service. The out-of-this-world Mexican Lasagna is served with a beautiful fresh salad and tortilla chips, and all three of their regular desserts are vegan. I had the Tres Leches and it was fantastic. I can’t recommend this place more highly. Go there. You won’t be disappointed.

Healthy set lunch - Edit
The set lunches are beautifully presented and tasted fresh and healthy. Due to the pandemic, the restaurant don't currently offer a-la-carte. They have a different set lunch every day for $3.50. There was a steady stream of customers for dining in and take away (all bringing reusable containers). The only suggestion I'd make is that they work on customer service a little as there was quite a long wait to pay and a queue ended up forming because of it.
