Fully vegan? - Edit
So far as we can tell this restaurant is actually vegan rather than vegetarian. See menu, as at March 25.
Read moreThe food we tried ... Olive fried rice, clay pot tofu and crispy vegetable ham was delicious. We really enjoyed each dish. My particular favourate was the crispy ham.
The restaurant seats around 40 inside & out. Staff were efficient and I would certainly eat here again.

In response to this listing downgrade from vegan to vegetarian; I today asked the guy in charge (via a Chinese speaking customer who offered to translate); what they offer that isn't vegan. The guy seemingly in charge replied approx 3 times pretty confidently, that all they sell is vegan.

All vegan affordable food with plenty vegetable dishes to choose from and not just starch. Sets a great standard for cheap and cheerful food around Chinatown.

So delicious yet so budget friendly - Edit
This place is godsent. Extremely hole in a wall place but the food is amazing. Can't believe it's so cheap too. Went with a couple of girl friends and tasted at least 5 the Cai Png dishes and ordered a Zhi Char style asam sotong. None disappointed, it was so good we couldn't decide which we like best.

AMAZING LAKSA - Edit
We ate here as a last minute decision and weren’t expecting to be blown away like we were. Highly recommend the laksa, which was so flavourful without being too spicy. We also had the curry noodles which were very delicious too! Can’t beat this place on price for the amazing flavour and quality of food you get.

What a lovely tasty treat! Everything we ate was delicious and looked incredible too. What a find, wish we had more days in Singapore so we could have gone back and sampled more of the menu. Really reasonable prices too, have to pay cash.

Lovely spot in China Town - Edit
Ended up having two dinners and a breakfast here so became a staple, the food was absolutely amazing and cheap. The people there were lovely and it was always busy. Highly recommend!

We had our first meal in Singapore here, and it was exactly what our tired, jetlagged bodies wanted. A bit confusing to figure out how to order, but we figured it out - we ordered from the food station up front rather than a la carte, picking out several dishes on top of a heaping serving of noodles. The serving was huge - my husband and I shared a plate. Very tasty!

There is a menu here but I couldn't decide what I wanted so asked for a selection of food from the buffet. The food wasn't 100% hot but it tasted great and was fresh. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe of the place was nice.

Very tasty noodles or brown rice with lots of vegetables tofu and some veggie-meat. Very homey feeling where tables are shared with friendly strangers… and it does get busy with clearly many regulars!

Fun authentic Singaporean experience dining here. We ordered lots of different dishes and all were delicious. The only one I remembered to photograph was the black olive fried rice which was the best ever B.O.F.R. I’ve ever tasted.
