Good drinks, food is okay - Edit

Gluten free cafe with vegan options, also with alcoholic drinks. Has set vegan options on the meny, and vegan substitutes for most menu items. Notably for drinks they have coconut cold foam, and frankie and jo's ice cream for floats and affogatos.

Got the hot mama sandwich made vegan, was a bit messy to eat. The english muffin was not bad for gluten free, reminded me of whole wheat. Tofu patty was good. The vegan sausage patty was a bit crumbly. Kimchi and spicy mayo were good. Got a specialty latte (misugaru latte) which is made with oat milk steeped in sesame and rice. The coffee itself was good but I couldn't really taste the sesame or rice, would just get a regular latter next time. Overall the place was good. Would go back for the drinks. For food, would likely only back if with someone who needed GF considering the other vegan options in the area.

I wanna love it. - Edit

I don’t have a prob w/gluten, but I wanted to check this place out bc it’s owned by a rad Korean woman. She has a tip-free policy bc she pays her staff a living wage (while other restaurants argue the new *minimum* wage is gonna break their backs). She also gives her team freedom to be creative + they earn commission on their recipes that make it onto the menu.

I got the vegan version of the Hot Mama + it was messy + needed a little salt. The english muffin tasted distinctly gluten-free + healthy. Yeobo is so new, it doesn’t have proper signage on the exterior, so I’ll give it time to grow. GF folks should def pop in + give feedback.

UPDATE: I got a free basic sandwich (via the Intentionalist) + I liked it better than the Hot Mama. I had to add a pinch of salt again, but the tofu scramble patty is good + this sandwich didn’t fall apart in my hands.
