Reasonable vegan choices but pushy service - Edit
We went as a party of 4, midweek early evening. There’s a separate vegan menu with 7 starters and 12 mains. All the starters are deep fried, so unlikely to be vegan. I had the Daal Tadka and Baingan Masala which were tasty, good portion size. I asked the waiter about the breads: was told they were all vegan, in a dismissive manner, so I’m not sure about that. I had a tandoori roti which came without butter. Didn’t bother asking about dessert.
Read moreFound the service off putting as everything was rushed, the food came quickly but the waiter was clearing the dishes from the starter course before all the dinners had finished, same after we’d finished the mains. The food was good but not anything special. Prices typical for Edinburgh city centre.
I wouldn’t go back.
Pros: Food was tasty
Cons: Dubious about how vegan some dishes were, Very pushy staff
