You MUST come here and order the tofu and Tempeh coconut soup, the savoury pancakes and the spicy hottie veggie. These are honestly some of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten and they are ridiculously cheap. It’s a really cute family run place who are so friendly. Also the whole place is vegan so it’s an absolute winner!

Best food in Ubud - Edit
I fell in love with the ‘Spicy-Hottie Vege Tempe’. They ask if you’d like medium or extra hot. Extra hot was exactly what I was looking for. We had various dishes on the menu over our few days in Ubud and loved all of them. Just be wary that the saucy mushrooms is a soup and not mushrooms with a sauce. Lovely restaurant that is clearly more local than others around Ubud so deserves support. Much cheaper than its competitors. Also the savoury pancake is amazing!

My partner and I went for dinner and ordered the saucy mushrooms and edamame beans for entree then had nasi goreng (fried rice) EXTRA SPICEY🌶🌶🌶 and the naughty tempe curry. Which was all made with love, it was all so delicious... looking forward to go there again. Everything’s reasonably priced especially if you’re on a budget. 😘🤓💘🙏🏾 We highly recommend!!!

Didn't try any of the savory stuff yet cause I was craving something sweet. So I got the banana crepe and a chickpea cookie and both were amazing! At first sight the crepe looked a bit small but then I discovered that it was two crepes on top of each other and banana in between 😍

Every time I've been here we've ordered a starter and two mains. Every time we receive one dish and one set of cutlery at a time. This means only one of us gets to eat. The starter is always delivered by the end of our meal. Forget about getting drinks unless you get up and get them yourself.

Wir hatten ein Nasi Goreng das super süß war und ein wässriges Curry. Vielleicht haben wir auch nen falschen Tag erwischt weil das Essen auch nicht wirklich warm war, aber einen weiteren Versuch wollen wir trotzdem nicht starten.

We very much enjoyed the wholesome food at Wulan, prepared with quality ingredients, with good flavor and texture (not overcooked) and served with love. There are vegan desserts, too. Service was very warm and friendly.

This place has a real homely vibe to it. You feel like you're literally in Wulan's house whilst she's cooking you real good hearty food. The banana goreng and pancakes were my favourite! Her cookies were incredible too! Was gutted to not be able to try the carrot cake but hopefully next time!
