Unlabeled: might be vegan, but who knows?

This is an inexpensive, grab-n-go place in NYC's Koreatown, with a bunch of places to sit and eat your wares. It looks like some of the offerings are probably vegan--but there is no way to tell for sure. Nothing is labeled as vegan, either in the store or on their website, and they did not respond to my email inquiry about this. There are no waiters, just some cashiers who cannot say for sure what the food ingredients are.

I show some pictures of food that seems as if it might be vegan. But do they use fish sauce? No ingredients are given, so your guess is as good as mine.

There is a Korean-Japanese mart just around the corner that also offers grab-n-go and seating, but the ingredients in their grab-n-go items are clearly marked. If this place labels its food more carefully, I'll consider raising my rating--but as it stands, I cannot comfortably recommend this place to anybody who wants to know with confidence that their food is vegan.

If it’s Korean style of japchae need to make sure there’s no fish sauce, a lot of Korean kimchi contains fish oil

Yes. Normally, you can ask the waiter if in doubt. But in a grab-n-go place like this, the ingredients need to be listed, otherwise, you cannot be sure.
