Leckere Ofenkartoffeln und Burger. Man muss allerdings bei der Bestellung aufpassen, denn dem Personal ist nicht immer klar, dass bei veganen Varianten die Sour Cream und die normale Mayo weggelassen werden muss.

Read moreThey have a sentence on the menu that all burgers can be made vegetarian/vegan. What you get for that is unclear.
So we asked the waiter and he told us they would just leave out the non vegetarian or non vegan ingredients. So if you order a vegan Tijuana burger that would contain beef patty, double cheddar, guacamole, bacon, onions, tomatoes and salad they replace the beef patty with a vegetable patty and leave out the cheddar and bacon completely. You get no replacement for that. And you pay the SAME amount for that, so EUR 19.90 which is crazy expensive. Really bad deal for this vegan burger. The other options aren't better.
Nothing else is labeled on the menu so you have to ask if anything else is vegan.
Service was also annoying since we got one of the burgers wrong and it was hard to get their attention.
Guess the edamame would be vegan by ingredients but I suspect they cook them in the same 1000° C oven where the meat is cooked which would not be great for taste.
All in all a really bad and expensive visit. If you have other options in Meersburg, go there. Would not recommend Wittkoop at all.

Burgers were very tasteful. Also good variety of selection. Besides burgers also falafel and vegan bowls. Only a pity they don’t offer vegan mayo with the fries themselves and that you have to ask for that yourself.
