Great vegan restaurant in Athens - Edit
Another one of Athens’ few fine-dining restaurants, located at the Niki Hotel.
Read moreIn a cozy and quiet atmosphere, this spot offers an extensive menu of vegan dishes and drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
The menu features beautifully presented dishes with character, such as bowls, pasta/noodles, burgers, and salads.
For dessert, you can choose from three options.
Some dishes are labeled gluten-free or nut-free (including peanuts).
I tried an amazing pink smoothie: Pink Pataya, with raspberries, mango, chia seeds, and coconut milk.
For my main course, I thoroughly enjoyed the most popular dish, Dynamite: “ Asian-marinated seitan “chicken” (not fried), baked in a coating made from whole grains and panko. Served with sushi rice, furikake, macaroni salad, miso syrup, and a Korean soy sauce.
A sure bet in Athens.

My friend and I stayed in the attached hotel and had a couple of breakfasts and a dinner. Everything was great. The miso noodles were probably our favorite thing that we ate during our trip; all the fantastic local Greek food notwithstanding😉

Great all vegan cozy restaurant - Edit
Really great food and cozy place. Didn’t seem to serve a lot of traditional Greek cuisine, but the dishes tasted wonderful. Kale salad was pretty rich with a lot of dressing but really good, pumpkin pasta was perfect on a cold and rainy day, and the fruity quinoa was light and refreshing.

Read moreWe came here 2x, once for dinner which we had the pasta and the warm winter salad, and the second time for dessert and smoothies. The warm winter salad was a highlight! It reminded me of christmas with its spice profile and was fantastic. The pavlova was also a highlight, although the meringue was hollow. The waiting staff were friendly and the interior was also nice and clean.

The name of the restaurant is very ambitious, and in the sense of standing out, they're right to call themselves winners: the menu differs so much from most of the other vegan places in Athens. Winners is not about gyros or cakes, and it was indeed nice to get a break from bread and dive into a bowl of buckwheat noodles with wakame, bathing in kimchi sauce. Delicious! One star less from perfect because the staff was just very indifferent.

מסעדה אופנתית כזו עם וייב פנסי קצת והיא מעט יקרה יחסית למסעדות אחרות וגודל המנות יחסית קטן (אבל מחירים סבירים כמו בארץ). טבעונית לגמרי. התחלתי עם מנת נודלס ואודון וטופו עם רוטב חמאת בוטנים קרמי. זה היה ממש טעים- אבל לצערי היה לי ספייסי מידי (רגישה) ולא יכולתי לאכול את זה. החליפו לי למנת אודון פטריות והוסיפו לי טופו לחלבון. המנה הזו הייתה מדהימה למי שאוהב פטריות.

We had a late lunch there and absolutely loved it. Food was super tasty, lots of interesting flavors and well prepared, decent sized serving which is always appreciated, and the manager (we assumed?) was super friendly with us and really passionate about the recipes! Can only recommend!

Great restaurant for dinner! Good selection of all-vegan dishes, many of which were rather spicy. Staff was attentive of allergens and asked about it before ordering. But be aware: Several dishes were labelled as nut-free on the menu, despite explicitly having nuts (e.g. peanuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc.) written as ingredients. Very weird.
Read moreOverall have to take off one star because if you are staying at the in-house hotel overnight and have your breakast at the restaurant, it's not fully vegan anymore. They have a vegan, and a vegetarian menu. Why??? And sadly, the vegetarian menu is the one that they push onto guests. I specifically had to ask to be given the vegan options (which were delicious though), so I wouldn't say it's really a vegan restaurant.

Winners for the Win! - Edit
We had a very nice dinner -- the savory pancake dish as an appetizer, followed by two bowls. Our favorite of the three things we had was the pancake dish. Too full for dessert. Nice people and date night ambience.

Disappointing Experience at Winners Vegan - Edit
Despite its promising name and signage, Winners Vegan left me underwhelmed. The atmosphere was cold, the staff inattentive, and the food didn’t live up to expectations. While it might appeal to those who like very spicy dishes, the lack of flavor and warmth made the overall visit forgettable.

Our first meal out in Athens was at @winners_vgn , super close to the Syntagma square. We went there after a long walk in the National Garden, and it was great to sit down at this cozy and beautifully decorated spot. The food is slightly more expensive than other 100% vegan places (we only visited fully vegan spots whilst in Athens), but the taste explains why - flavours are highly elaborated and creative, and we got back there on our last day for another lunch 🤭 a meal for 2 costs around €50 and I consider it a definitely worthy treat!

In the second visit I ordered the other special, the curried noodle, and Rob repeated his burger that he really enjoyed 🤭

The food was ok but the prices are way too high. They charged us 5 euro for water that we didn't even properly order. Also, in comparison with other vegan places you will find better service, food and price worthy meals then here.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Athens - Edit
Highly recommend! We tried the Dynamite bowl with panko-crusted seitan and a seasonal salad — both of which were delicious! Flavors are oriented towards Western fusion (no Greek dishes), but still outstanding.
