It all felt really fancy and the options were unique and all yummy. Service was on-point too. My main was cold so I sent it back and we were then given a free bubbly and dessert for the wait!

Super lekker eten, goede bediening - Edit
We hadden verschillende gerechten gedeeld: taco’s, dumplings, Vietnamese rolls en pasta, en dracarys toetje. Heerlijke fles wijn erbij, totaal niet duur, en erg vriendelijke bediening. Mooie omgeving, top avond!

Good variety - Edit
Entrees ranged from rural Spanish style to Asian fusion. The artichoke flowers were incredibly tasty and not at all greasy. The baked rice dish was smokey with a touch of truffle flavor. The (vegan) cream on top of the rice was a bit rich. It didn't need the cream, the dish was delicious on its own.

Decent food - Edit
Food was good enough - tasty and all, but not as awesome as expected. I liked the Pad Thai, but would have loved to see more veggies and less noodles in it. Also liked the taste of the gyoza's, but they didn't seem freshly prepared. My hubbie ordered one of the vegan pizzas which had homemade vegan mozarella on it. We strongly doubt it was homemade though. Even so, the pizza cured his pizza-cravings just fine - for now, he adds ;-)
Read moreThe gazpacho, as an entree on the house, was a really nice gesture and very tasty.
Also had the Oreo creampie as dessert. Oi... That was really good and really a meal on itself😉
Staff is nice, scenery is nice. It's weird though that the restaurant is divided in two: a vegan part and a non-vegan part. Same kitchen. Not that I'm offended by it or anything, but it's just weird.

Way overrated - Edit
There are two restaurants within one location, so you can choose between a vegan menu and a non vegan menu. Which makes the place not vegan for me.
Read moreDon’t get me wrong, the Wild Food menu is all vegan but you can also order from a non vegan menu. Same location, same waiters/waitresses and I assume same kitchen.
Now to the food: I expected more after the good reviews. The pasta was drowned in a weirdly sweet sauce and I had so many better paellas in Spain. The tacos for a starter were nice though.

5 stars for the scale of the restaurant - Edit
I'll be honest, I've rarely seen such a big and grandiose vegan restaurant in Spain, and wherever I've been so far in my life...
Read moreI decided to start with edemame trufado, which was great, but then I think I didn't pick the best item in the menu, the Wild burger, which was OK but not spectacular. The tiramisu was also OK, a huge portion, but not the best vegan tiramisu I've ever had.
But the menu has lots of things I'd like to try, and it is a pleasure to enter such a big scale vegan restaurant in a tiny city like Granada. Impressive.

We went there for lunch and dinner and tried almost all of their starters. They are all delicious, so were the mains. The atmosphere was not very welcoming though, especially inside the restaurant.

A real 5 stars restaurant - Edit
I don't usually give away 5-star reviews easily, despite it's very common on Happy Cow. Well, this place is worth it because it's a high end place which is quite expensive (nothing exaggerated) but it provides high end service. It's about time vegan restaurants start doing that. Food is good and the range of products is wide. I'll come back

Definitely not a must to eat here - Edit
We ordered two starters, Temaki and the Roasted Heura Gyozas.
Read moreThe Temakis were good, especially the combination between salty soy sauce and the nigiri sheets and the sweet mango was yummy.
The Gyozas were way too salty and too dry, because they have been fried too long.
For the main dishes we ordered the Oven baked rice with rural touch and the Red Curry.
The oven baked rice was tasty at the beginning but became quite dull after a few forks.
The red curry with “prawns” to be honest, I could have done better. It was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn’t.
The prawns didn’t imitate the taste of prawns the curry sauce was not really what I expected from a red curry to taste.
I can’t give 5 stars and I am a bit shocked by the most reviews here. It’s not something special and you can find these dishes in Germany all over the places in bigger cities.
I guess it’s an overall problem with HappyCow 😔

Not as expected - Edit
We had 2 starters which where just ok. The gyozas were way too overcooked and salty. I ordered the oven-baked rice which was looking promising on the picture - but I found it too dry and with the creams on top too fat. The restaurant looks fancy but the food was ordinary.
