Employee assaulted my minor daughters - Edit
Last night, my children went to buy cheese for their lunch. They were both very excited to go, as we do not usually let them go to that store at night (they are 17 and 11 year old girls). When they arrived at 8:55 pm and went to the counter, they were verbally attacked "because he was closing in one minute" and did not want to cut cheese for them. He insisted he would attack them and acted very aggressively, for no reason. My daughter was literally in fear of him and called my wife.
Read moreMy wife called the store manager and he got someone else to assist them, he seemed very professional and courteous. He assigned another employee, who was female to assist them. Once the manager got out of sight, she asked my daughter "what the hell do you want", literally. She then said "I have to go get the cheese blades because they are in the back and left. Once she left my children standing at the counter, the man who assaulted my children earlier started slamming tools around, while staring at my children, in an attempt to intimidate them. My wife was on the phone with my daughter, listening to this whole exchange. At this point she advised my children to leave the store. I was on the phone with the store manager at the same time, who was telling me this was not happening, while we heard this happening. I terminated the call with him, telling him I would contact upper management.
I have shopped at Whole Foods for many years. We lived in Austin and shopped at the original and then your flagship store on Lamar, later. We have lived in California, shopped at Whole Foods. We have literally shopped at Whole Foods in more than 20 states over the last 25 years. Whole Foods, as a whole, has decreased dramatically in customer service since the purchase by Amazon. The Park Lane Whole Foods is the absolute worst grocery store, let alone Whole Foods, I have ever been in. The Instacart shoppers are rude and will run you over to get their items, the customer service culture is absent there, resulting in entitled, demeaning and rude treatment by employees, which has now escalated to assault on children. They obviously feel no fear of consequences as this behavior is pervasive and done openly, without shame. The store does not consistently open on time and close early. When questioned the employees state "we don't have a specific time to open". I am sure this is more of the tail wagging the dog, as you have posted hours that they are not adhering to
Pros: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing
Cons: Bad culture, Mysoginist, Get assaulted by employees while trying to shop
