Amazing pancakes gluten free and vegan with interesting ingredients! I got the ones with pineapple and coconut and were outstanding! Worth the visit in London just for these!

The pancakes were hot, such a great combo with the avocado and smoked tahini. Good sized serving. Spiced very nicely.

Disappointed - Edit
Have had a much better experience in another branch, our pancakes were quite raw and had an overpowering taste of salt? The portion size was also much smaller.

Nice vegan pancakes - Edit
Had pancakes and coffees here. Firstly, the coffees are really nice, and the pumpkin spice latte had a little powder pumpkin on top which was a really cute touch.
Read moreThe pancakes themselves are really good, and you can buy "3-in-1" pancake mix (vegan, gluten free) to make more yourself.
The toppings were a bit all over the place. At first it looks like there's lots of vegan options, but really they involve missing out some of the ingredients! There was a poached pair and salted caramel pancake, but the "vegan version" was just done without the caramel, so was a much less attractive option as a result. I had the banana/granola/almond butter pancakes and I don't think the toppings were thought through - they were super dry all together. Oh well.
Still worth checking out for a nice coffee, and if you pick your toppings carefully you could get something bice because the pancakes are really good.

Yummy but not speedy - Edit
All elements of the "Boulder" were fresh and delicious. The café is smallish yet airy with a nice leafy vibe, plus there's a fair amount of outdoor seating.
Read moreService was friendly enough but leisurely - 45 minutes from arrival to food being served. More of a weekend pace than ducking out for your lunch hour.

Lovely - Edit
Went here for a birthday brunch and it was really nice. I even got a free pancake with chocolate sauce because the servers noticed it was my birthday, so sweet. We tried one sweet and one savory option and both were very good, the sweet one could have used a little more almond butter though.

Amazing pancakes - Edit
Really lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of pancake options. They even have oat milk for drinks! It can get quite expensive if you're asking for extras, but there are lots of options that can be made vegan on request - there's even vegan butter. Would go here again in a heartbeat. Only four stars because not fully vegan.

Average tasting pancakes and confusing menu - Edit
Was excited to come here but actually disappointed - they have a vv for vegan food but on the whole menu there is only one vv. They also have VO which means VO which is most things but I ordered vegan option and they put dairy ice cream on it. When I asked as it didn’t look right they said the pancakes were vegan not the toppings and asked if I wanted ‘full vegan’. They then went away and brought back vegan dish very quickly so was uncertain if they just wiped it and swapped but not sure so can’t say for certain. Despite that the pancakes weren’t even that good.

If you are looking for a pretty place for a casual date, this is the right place!
Read moreWhere the pancakes are is a very instagramable cute little place, with a clean and easy design and a touch of peach pastel color, 10 mins walking from London Bridge. It’s situated inside a small outdoor street food market with lots of Shoreditch vibes, perfect for a beer during summer. Since the place is really small, you would probably need to book in advance. The menu isn’t too complicated as you have two sections, sweet & savoury, and there are 5-6 options for each section. You have also the possibility of a richer full breakfast, if you feel like. Each dish has 2 pancakes and it’s heavily topped with anything you can imagine. They also have a vegan batter! The American classic have 4-5 savoury pancakes topped with maple syrup and fruit. The contrast between sweet and savoury was something really strange! They opened few months ago, so if you like to be in trend, you must check this place out. Did you try their pancakes already? Which one is your favourite?
Pros: location, good food, friendly staff
Cons: bit pricey, could have more vegan options

Perfect breakfast - Edit
Eating out pancakes is usually a no-go for vegans, so I was thrilled to find this place. I went for the vegan breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. A nice mix of flavours and a big enough portion which easily got me through a 1,5 hours hoek and a dreadful visit to Harrods.

Avoid if you are vegan or have an allergy - Edit
An awful place for vegans. When me and my company ordered two vegan meals one of us got a fried egg and halloumi on the plate. When we complained we were told that that menu item had eggs and halloumi according to the menu and that could not be changed. But the pancakes were vegan the owner told us. We sent the plate back and ordered another dish which we had to wait half an hour for while the other dish got cold. When the new order came we asked if it was vegan and the waiter said probably.
Read moreAnd we got the check we saw that they add 12% non-optional gratuity after not even getting a sorry.
The food isn't very good either and it is quite expensive.
Pros: We don't have to come back
Cons: Expensive, Bad food, Horrible service Not really vegan.
