Located near Ghibli Museum. Staff were very friendly and brought us out bread to try, making sure to accommodate vegans. Lots of vegan options and well labelled. Food itself was okay.

Love the vegan rice bowl - Edit
How have I not reviewed here before! I love the vegan rice bowl and have it at least once a month. I love that they give you a little taste of their GF breads(these definitely benefit from being toasted). They also sell bread and muffins to take out. Lovely staff and fun decor too.

Great Vegan Options - Edit
Fantastic spot if you're looking for great vegan options! We tried the vegan rice bowl, the vegan green curry, and the cucumber sandwich. Both the rice bowl and the green curry were absolutely bursting with flavor – seriously delicious. The cucumber sandwich was nice, though a little bland for my taste; I think the yogurt sauce could use a touch more acidity. Also, I'm usually not a fan of gluten-free bread as I find it too heavy, but theirs wasn't too bad at all. Definitely recommend checking out their rice bowl and curry!

Cute café - Edit
Nice little place for vegans and non vegans alike. The gluten free bread was had a good flavor and texture, and though the cupcake was a bit crumbly it also had a nice flavor. The coffee was also good.

Can't recommend enough! - Edit
Wonderful little restaurant close to the Ghibli Museum, perfect for lunch or dinner around your visit. Delicious vegan and gluten free savoury and sweet options available, plus food available to take away with you (fresh bread, cookies, and other sweet treats). Staff were very kind and accommodating. The perfect first dinner experience for our time in Tokyo.

Cosy place with good vegan food 🌱✨ - Edit
Stumbled upon this place kinda randomly since I had a spa session in the area. I had a rice bread sandwich with hummus and a coffee, and it was all sooo good. Happy that all the vegan options were clearly marked on the menu. The two employees were so friendly and welcoming ✨

Excellent vegan selection - Edit
Great selection of vegan options, though I have always ordered their delicious vegan Thai green curry as a main so far, as I don’t know any other place in Tokyo that offers such a plate.

Clearly marked menus (English and Japanese available). Very tasty refreshing menu I had the taco rice bowl, a side of falafel and then the waffles for dessert.

Will come back for sure! - Edit
My first time at Where is a Dog. I had the vegan rice bowl which was very good! It was very filling and had carbs and protein (soy TVP granulates) and a great assortment of both veggies and fruits. The salad dressing on top was delicious, which is prob the reason I will return.
Read moreAll guests get a light tea water (although there is an extensive drink menu) and for dessert I had the vegan waffle plate, which was good. The waffles were gluten free, so if you are used to "regular" waffles, the taste is a bit different, but not bad. Food presentation was lovely too and staff were attentive and nice. All safety measures during Covid-19 were appropriate and good.
My friend found the dog, but we are not allowed to reveal where. :-)
Pros: Taste of food, Dish presentation was lovely, Free wifi

Nice little cafe - Edit
A quite nice little cafe with some vegan options and desserts. The staff is friendly and and the atmosphere is cozy. If you're scared of cats, don't go there!
Read moreThe upset was, that my partner and I ordred the same dish, which could be made vegan, where I got the vegan one and she got the same with chicken and cheese. The difference between the dishes was, they just didn't put chicken and cheese in my dish otherwise it was exactly the same - and so was the price...
Pros: Many vegan desserts , Good atmosphere
Cons: You pay the same for less if you order vegan, Medium-sized portions
