Best Vegan Lunch Experience in Vancouver - Edit
Incredibly authentic, unbelievable taste, great service, nice people. Their family grows coffee in Vietnam and sends it here for the restaurant!

Extremely tasty food and brilliant staff - Edit
Some of the best service we have ever received in a restaurant
Read moreWe had party members who don't eat onion or garlic and these guys were able to deliver some banging food
The waiter who served us was brilliant. We rang ahead to ask what they could make for us and he added the note to our table booking and even prepared a list beforehand of items that didn't have onion or garlic and items that could be amended.
The food arrived very quickly, the portion sizes were very generous and we left feeling extremely satisfied.
Anyone looking for vegan Vietnamese food, this is the only place you should be looking at
Pros: Quality of food, Speed of service, Brilliant wait staff
Cons: Price

Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever tried around the world. Everything was delicious and the service was great. I recommend the vegan pepper steak and pad Thai but you can’t go wrong with any of the dishes

Delicious Spot for a Flavorful Lunch! - Edit
Everything we ordered here was very yummy and unlike any other Vietnamese restaurant. Wonderful flavors of umami, sweetness, spice, and fermented goodness! Definitely recommend trying the Viet Style Vermicelli Platter! The waiters may try to disuade you from ordering it due to the strong flavors, but it’s worth it and they are very friendly and happy to tell you how to make your own rice paper rolls.

Big menu and lots of interesting dishes - Edit
We got the cauliflower appetizer. Sauce was good but cauliflower was too hard, maybe too undercooked? We got the fish and dill vermicelli bowl and the steak one and they were decent but nothing special. The pickled veggies and salad were good, but the noodles themselves could have been higher quality. The fake meats were good and the spring roll that came with it was really good. We also got the vegan rib which had a beautiful presentation and came with fresh tomatoes. The vegan rib was polarizing - some of our table loved it and some didn’t. Overall, not my favourite Vietnamese in the city but fun to try.

Absolutely delicious - Edit
The atmosphere was so lovely with the minimalist decor and the beautiful hanging plants from the ceiling. Came here on a Saturday night and it was fairly busy but the service was still excellent and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. We had the eggplant chick’n bowl, the lemongrass chick’n, and the summer rolls. Everything was SO good. And very filling! The chick’n was almost too realistic 😅 can’t wait to come back and try more options on the menu!

Amazing Vietnamese food. Very traditional flavours yet everything is vegan. The “pork belly” looks almost too real. We loved all the dishes we had. Make reservations!

High Vive Vietnamese - Edit
A small and well appointed dining room serving Vietnamese. The Pho was good, the summer rolls were excellent. I personally don’t love meat replacements and would prefer vegetables and avocado anywhere a fake meat is used. Also the service was meh and the music was bumping bad pop for teenagers.

Delicious and beautiful - Edit
Everything I have tried here is delicious and beautifully presented. The flavours in the Pho broth are incredible, complex, with a savoury, herbaceous, tangy body and a slightly sweet umami finish. It is so good every time. This is hands down my favourite place to eat in Vancouver, and currently wins as my favourite place anywhere ❤️

Cons: Loud when busy! Still worth eating in though.

This Place Rocks! - Edit
Best spring rolls ever, regardless of whether they’re vegan or not. They are outstanding and may be my favourite bite of food I’ve ever had. The coconut curry ramen is amazing and every other item I have tried was delicious. The new location is much more inviting and the staff is friendly. Support this place!

The service was great! They have a few gluten free dishes and use sweetened condensed coconut milk in the Vietnamese coffee. I was very pleased.

Overpriced and subpar food. - Edit
We had 2 different Pho and Pad Thai.
Read morePortions were small despite the high price.
Unlike other pho restaurants, they don't give you the side of bean sprouts and Thai basil.
They haven't figured out how to prepare something basic like bok choy; they just threw some raw ones into the broth and expected that to do the trick. You end up with bitter bok choy; you're supposed to blanch it quickly first.
Broth was heavy on the cardamom, meh flavour.
At least the 1 staff I watched had proper food hygiene, which is more than I can say about many other restaurants out there. You know, basic things like isolating touching payment and food.

Vietnamese on The Drive - Edit
Small local restaurant offering all vegan delicious Vietnamese dishes. We had the brussel sprouts and caramel used cracker for appetizers. Brussels were really good, but the crackers were standout: “spare rib” on top, but the sauce really makes that dish. Then we had the Beef Pho and the Curry Pho and both were great. There’s about 8 tables and it’s a busy place, but only because it’s really good. Would highly recommend this spot.

Satisfying Spring Rolls, Ribs were oily. - Edit
The spring rolls were a good start to the meal, hitting the spot with their crispy texture and savory filling. However, in hindsight, I might have been better off ordering the veggie option. The "meat" in the rolls had a slightly salty and processed taste, which was a minor letdown.
Read moreThe ribs were generously slathered in a flavorful sauce but leaned on the oily side. The pho was packed with flavor. However, it suffered from being overpowered by the intense aroma and taste of cloves and cinnamon. It felt like a little of these spices went a long way, and, unfortunately, they somewhat overwhelmed the overall dish.
Pros: Cute location, Friendly staff
Cons: Oily dishes, Pho overpowered by cloves and cinnamon

Very good vegan Vietnamese - Edit
Very good 100% plant-based Vietnamese food. I had summer rolls and cha Ca Hanoi. The main course was delicious: light and flavorful. The dish had beautiful colors, balanced flavors, and very fresh ingredients. Very friendly staff. Recommended! Mango lemonade had intense flavor. I’ll go back
