Vegan patisserie! - Edit
I’ve been wanting to come to VG for a long time. I was so happy to finally try it! Our favorites were the strawberry and cream croissant and chocolate hazelnut croissant. I also really enjoyed the rhubarb gateaux.

Delightful bread, pastries and desserts - Edit
They offer a range of breads, pastries and desserts at a reasonable price. There are only a few tables available and it can get quite busy so I ended up getting takeaway. The pain au chocolat was not too sweet and beautiful lamination. I really enjoyed the pain avec raisin et amandes which was more like a Danish with a sweet crumbly top and fruity filling.

Delicious baked treats - Edit
I came here for my breakfast one day and tried a few things. To start with I ordered a croque monsieur and a chocolate eclair and a large cafe latte.
Read moreMy sandwich came out after a short grilling and I was concerned about how I was going to fit in my mouth with how tall it was. Fortunately, the bread is lovely soft and airy and squished down easily for eating. Along with the cheese on top there was a bechamel inside with a slice of ham tucked in amongst all the cheese. I didn't get particularly strong flavours from the cheese and bechamel and the ham was a bit lost in the vast quantities of everything else. It was a lovely comforting bite of food but it wasn't packing a huge amount of flavour.
I don't really know what eclairs are supposed to be like I make no claims about authenticity but I can say that this was delicious. It was a lovely thin shell of choux pastry filled with a delicious chocolate cream. There was possibly more of that cream on top along with some biscuity chunks.
I was having a bit of a slow start to my day so I sat and read for a little while before I decided to treat myself to a pain au chocolat and a hot chocolate. I was a bit underwhelmed. It was a bit bready and didn't have a huge amount of chocolate. I've definitely had better. This was a much cheaper pastry, coming at 1.20 whilst the fancier goods were 4-5 euro.
The drinks were nice, the latte was pleasant and not very strong. The hot chocolate was fine but not up there with some of the great decadent ones I've had.

Worth a stop! Hit and miss service - Edit
I went here three times and enjoyed the pastries very much. Some of them were less sweet than I preferred but the raspberry macaron and lemon meringue tart was incredible!
Read moreThe croissants are also very good and I specially ordered an opera cake for my anniversary and really loved it.
One of the times I went there and ordered a hot chocolate to go the staff member was rude and despite it being only 4pm there were out of whipped cream. Not a big deal but my hot chocolate was given to me cold and because they were rude/cold I didn’t want to go back and request it to be made hotter…
The first time I went the staff was friendly, maybe she was having a bad day and was annoyed at my lack of French speaking despite my attempts with a translator app.
I do think this place is worth checking out, but don’t order a beverage to go. Keep it simple with something from the case or ordering in advance
Pros: Opera cake, Lemon meringue , Croissants
Cons: Hit and miss service (can be friendly or rude) , Not recommended to order drinks to go, Small space that can fill up quickly

Great Bakery/coffeeshop - Edit
Not as big a selection as Land&Monkeys but still plenty of sweets and sandwiches. Had the cinnamon roll which was gently sweet, and an oat milk matcha.

Disappointing experience - Edit
It would be very easy to make a better pizza. This one tasted bad and gave a sticky mouth sensation. The sandwich with cheese and jalapeno seemed to be made without any creativity. The lemon pastry I had was ok but nothing more. This could be so much better!

kind staff, spoke English. had the coffee éclair, pain au chocolate, vanilla flan, and an apple tart. all delicious. especially impressed by the flan that's basically a slice of cake it's so much. I think the éclair was my favorite though! some seats instead and outside but can get crowded easily.

I'm going back to Paris in November, and I plan to visit daily for my fix.
I still remember the taste of my pastries and breads from there.
The croissants....amazing. The coffee GREAT! I could just hang out there all day and eat if the rest of Paris wasn't calling me.
Pros: Croissants, All pasteries, coffee

It's so nice to be able to eat the classics again. I've had an almond pain au chocolat and I loved it! The hardest part was to choose between all the pâtisseries and viennoiseries.

One big problem with this place……. - Edit
……is that it now makes any other vegan cake selling establishments seem boring in comparison, and almost redundant!
Read moreI’m never going to be able to walk in to any vegan cafe again without comparing it to VG patisserie! 🫤
Honestly guys, in nearly 19 years of being vegan, this is hands down the BEST vegan place I have EVER been to, in any country I’ve visited.
If you are a vegan visiting Paris, it is now law that you get yourself over to Boulevard Voltaire and get stuffing your face in here! 😋
We tried a fair few of the offerings, if I had to choose a favourite I would possibly have to go for the Paris-Brest.
But ask me again tomorrow and I might say the chocolate almond pain au chocolat. Or the vanilla flan. You get the gist! 😂
A word of warning if you go on a Saturday, it does get busy so may struggle to get a seat indoors as it’s only a small shop!
Pros: Everything. Just everything! , The best Vegan venue in Paris, Staff are fantastic
Cons: Are you kidding me?

Nice, can be better - Edit
Nice place, service can be better. We ordered coffee and banana bread and pain au chocolat, our bread both came cold. We asked to heat them up, but they said we’ll give you a new one because you touched it. Don’t really understand how can you know whether it’s cold or warm without touching.
Read moreWe waited and waited, for probably about 10 minutes and when they brought heated bakery - it was still cold. Hence 4 stars.
Pros: Tasty
Cons: Service, They don’t ask if you want your bakery heated

Great! - Edit
It's a vegan patisserie - I can't not give it 5 stars 🤩 staff were lovely. However, for everything I tried, I did prefer the Land&Monkeys version. My partner loved VG and said their pastries were much better (I'm not really a fan of viennoiserie pastry)
