Excellent vegan pastries and amazing wedding cakes!

We always struggle finding vegan options in Paris so we're really happy to find VG patisserie.

We've loved everything we've tried during our visits ( we've tried a lot!) and the wedding cake they provided for us, was absolutely amazing! Probably the best wedding cake, maybe the best cake in general I've ever had!

Can’t go wrong with anything here

I really liked the sandwich with vegan chicken, sun-dried tomatoes (and other things I can’t remember). It was very flavorful!
The choco praline croissant was very tasty as well.

Absolutely worth a visit

Small but cozy patisserie with a great variety of delicious pastries. I highly recommend the roll framboise and the eclair au chocolat.

Fancy sweets ftw

Their laminated pastries are very good, but the exquisite jewel-like patisserie really take the cake. Savories vary in quality. Today’s quiche Lorraine was so-so, but the savory croissant sandwich slayed.

Massive Selection, Classically French

This all-vegan bakery has a massive selection of pastries, sandwiches, cakes and other goods - plenty of iconic classics too for those trying to hit the spot.

Overall the quality is decent, and pricing is fair. The bakery was very busy and service speed was so-so, but the staff were friendly and helpful!

Limited gluten free options.

Great choice as an all-vegan spot, definitely worth the effort. Probably not quite a 'specialty' store if you're looking for something truly exquisite - but it is nice to have a much more typical bakery experience than a cake shop!

Pros: Large Variety of Options

Delicious pastries

We had their éclair au chocolat, pépito, macaron framboise jasmine, crookalatine, crookie, cinnamon roll, pain au chocolat praline, and "roll framboise chocolat blanc" (over a week).

All were delicious. The roll framboise chocolat blanc, macaron framboise jasmine, and crookolatine were our favourites! The fillings were all so good!

We weren't sure about getting the roll framboise or the macaron framboise, as they were a bit more expensive, but it was worth it!

The only thing we didn't love was the cinnamon roll.

When you order, be aware that if you sit to eat, it costs more.

Pros: Roll framboise chocolat blanc, Macaron framboise, Crookolatine

Cons: Cinnamon roll didn't have enough glaze or flavour

Excellent moment.

Je cherchais un endroit pour déguster des pâtisseries. Je n'ai pas été déçue. La tarte au citron était merveilleuse.
C'est l'endroit parfait pour une petite pause sucrée.

Vegan patisserie!

I’ve been wanting to come to VG for a long time. I was so happy to finally try it! Our favorites were the strawberry and cream croissant and chocolate hazelnut croissant. I also really enjoyed the rhubarb gateaux.

Pros: Vegan, French pastries

Delightful bread, pastries and desserts

They offer a range of breads, pastries and desserts at a reasonable price. There are only a few tables available and it can get quite busy so I ended up getting takeaway. The pain au chocolat was not too sweet and beautiful lamination. I really enjoyed the pain avec raisin et amandes which was more like a Danish with a sweet crumbly top and fruity filling.

Pros: Diverse range of vegan baked goods, Friendly and efficient service, Delicious pastries and breads

Cons: Limited seating available

Delicious baked treats

I came here for my breakfast one day and tried a few things. To start with I ordered a croque monsieur and a chocolate eclair and a large cafe latte.

My sandwich came out after a short grilling and I was concerned about how I was going to fit in my mouth with how tall it was. Fortunately, the bread is lovely soft and airy and squished down easily for eating. Along with the cheese on top there was a bechamel inside with a slice of ham tucked in amongst all the cheese. I didn't get particularly strong flavours from the cheese and bechamel and the ham was a bit lost in the vast quantities of everything else. It was a lovely comforting bite of food but it wasn't packing a huge amount of flavour.

I don't really know what eclairs are supposed to be like I make no claims about authenticity but I can say that this was delicious. It was a lovely thin shell of choux pastry filled with a delicious chocolate cream. There was possibly more of that cream on top along with some biscuity chunks.

I was having a bit of a slow start to my day so I sat and read for a little while before I decided to treat myself to a pain au chocolat and a hot chocolate. I was a bit underwhelmed. It was a bit bready and didn't have a huge amount of chocolate. I've definitely had better. This was a much cheaper pastry, coming at 1.20 whilst the fancier goods were 4-5 euro.

The drinks were nice, the latte was pleasant and not very strong. The hot chocolate was fine but not up there with some of the great decadent ones I've had.

Worth a stop! Hit and miss service

I went here three times and enjoyed the pastries very much. Some of them were less sweet than I preferred but the raspberry macaron and lemon meringue tart was incredible!
The croissants are also very good and I specially ordered an opera cake for my anniversary and really loved it.
One of the times I went there and ordered a hot chocolate to go the staff member was rude and despite it being only 4pm there were out of whipped cream. Not a big deal but my hot chocolate was given to me cold and because they were rude/cold I didn’t want to go back and request it to be made hotter…
The first time I went the staff was friendly, maybe she was having a bad day and was annoyed at my lack of French speaking despite my attempts with a translator app.
I do think this place is worth checking out, but don’t order a beverage to go. Keep it simple with something from the case or ordering in advance

Pros: Opera cake, Lemon meringue , Croissants

Cons: Hit and miss service (can be friendly or rude) , Not recommended to order drinks to go, Small space that can fill up quickly

Great Bakery/coffeeshop

Not as big a selection as Land&Monkeys but still plenty of sweets and sandwiches. Had the cinnamon roll which was gently sweet, and an oat milk matcha.

Disappointing experience

It would be very easy to make a better pizza. This one tasted bad and gave a sticky mouth sensation. The sandwich with cheese and jalapeno seemed to be made without any creativity. The lemon pastry I had was ok but nothing more. This could be so much better!

Pros: The music, Clear indication of gluten free products, The initiative of a fully vegan bakery

Cons: Quality of the pizza, Quality of the jalapeno cheese sandwich

kind staff, spoke English. had the coffee éclair, pain au chocolate, vanilla flan, and an apple tart. all delicious. especially impressed by the flan that's basically a slice of cake it's so much. I think the éclair was my favorite though! some seats instead and outside but can get crowded easily.

Can' wait to return

So, it's been almost two years since visiting VG in Paris.
I thought about staying closer to it this time because it is the BOMB!
I'm going back to Paris in November, and I plan to visit daily for my fix.
I still remember the taste of my pastries and breads from there.
The croissants....amazing. The coffee GREAT! I could just hang out there all day and eat if the rest of Paris wasn't calling me.

Pros: Croissants, All pasteries, coffee

So many vegan pastries and some gluten-free

It's so nice to be able to eat the classics again. I've had an almond pain au chocolat and I loved it! The hardest part was to choose between all the pâtisseries and viennoiseries.
The staff is particularly friendly.

Pros: French classics, Large range of viennoiseries

Cons: No bathroom
