Unschlagbare Lage im Zentrum - Edit
Das Verte liegt mitten im Zentrum von Stockholm in einer belebten Gegend. Das Restaurant scheint schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein und ist ziemlich dunkel. Falls es das Wetter erlaubt, würde ich deshalb die Sitzplätze im Außenbereich empfehlen. Die Bruschetta (135 SEK/ 11,30€), die aus einer großen Scheibe Brot mit Tomaten bestand, hat uns nicht so gut geschmeckt, dafür aber die Vegoballs für 189 SEK (15,82 €).
Read moreDer griechische Salat bestand hauptsächlich aus Blattsalat, ein paar Tomatenscheiben, Oliven und veganem Schafskäse. Brot gab es nicht dazu. Das alles war für 179 SEK (ca. 15 €) nicht in angemessen.
Die Lage im Zentrum der Stadt ist unschlagbar und dann noch ein rein veganes Lokal. Für mich aber kein kulinarisches Highlight und auch nur in Ordnung, falls man sich gerade im Zentrum aufhält.

The location is great in Gamla Stan. The waiters were helpful (in general) but they didn’t care about us after they asked us to sit down and yet there were only a few customers.

The dumplings were not okay as they were full of oil.
High prices for medium quality food.

Perfect location in the old town near the river, small but well selected menu which didn’t disappoint- Vegaballs with mash washed down with a glass of wine hit the spot.

We ordered the daily soup (it seemed like a simple broccoli soup but it was much more tasty and filling) and a main course and we were full. Even with the seemingly really small portion of vegan “meatballs”. I choose a bowl and it was not only tasty but completely healthy too.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice, perfect place for a candle light dinner.

Le burger : l’intérieur est à moitié froid et à moitié brûlé, les frites étaient pas mal.
Même à Paris, on est pas habitué à un service aussi mauvais : attente pour être placé alors que le resto est vide, service très lent et mauvais, vente forcée d’eau en bouteille quand on demande simplement de l’eau (refusez cette bouteille en plastique qu’elle vous apporte !)
Pour couronner le tout, c’est très cher pour ce que c’est.
J’ai juste mis deux étoiles, parce qu’ils ont fait l’effort d’avoir une carte complètement Vegane, mais ce n’est pas étonnant que ce restaurant n’ai pas de succès

I had the veggie ‘meat’balls and also tried some of my friend’s burger. Both looked quite simple at first glance, but did taste really good and the components seemed well planned. However, it is pricey which is perhaps not surprising seeing the location of the pub in Old Town.

I quite liked the food here, but unfortunately the service wasn’t so good.. we really wanted the buffet but they didn’t have the buffet that day. I didn’t get any answers why they didn’t had the buffet although it was on the menu😄

Read moreI got my chance here to try swedish meatballs (Vegoballs) and was not disappointed! My friend even scraped the sauce off my plate.
Staff was nice but nothing outstanding, I personally didn't like the interior but we were able to sit outside and stay dry even while it rained. 4 Stars, because it's 100% vegan uvu

After a very busy day, I found this place which was exactly what I needed. Relaxing music, comfortable seating, nice atmosphere. The food was okay - I tried the dumplings and the cheesecake (they were ok). There were other interesting dishes on the menu (such as meatballs for example), so I'd pass by again if given the chance.

Verte tends to be understaffed, so exuding patience when hungry could be a bummer, but the food is definitely worth the wait and the atmosphere is a perfect setting for lunch.
