Coffeehouse and restaurant est. 2015 and is the first 100% vegan restaurant in Strasbourg. Features a variety of savory foods as well as daily desserts. Serves dishes like vegan cheese boards, loaded hotdogs, and burgers as well as baguette sandwiches and tonic salads. The dessert case is filled with a colorful assortment of mini cakes, slices, and treats like tarlets and brownies. Coffee and fresh juices available. Amazing desserts and Camembert! - Edit
We moved to Karlsruhe not so long ago, so I was happy to take a day trip yesterday to Strasbourg for my birthday, since it's only about an hour away. The desserts here are really good! I had a lemon tarte, and took some more desserts home when we came back for dinner in the evening. We shared the Faux gras that had a wonderful apricot chutney, both had the tartiflette with potatoes in s cheezy sauce, and then shared the camembert for dessert. Everything on everyone else's plate looked very nice as well. The service was also very friendly. The brownies look boring compared to all of the other finely decorated items, but it's also really rich and fudgy as a brownie should be.

As four foodie-vegans we shared 4 different dishes and desserts at velicious.

The ‚cheese platter‘ for 11€ was - sorry - hilarious.
Two thin (storebought) vegan cheese sticks and a teaspoon with cream cheese.
I had much better vegan cheese dishes for a more reasonable price.
The staff was friendly, but there where definitely language issues. The menu unfortunately is only available in French.
The desserts (4-5€) have been our highlights, super-good little tarts and cakes in patisserie quality.

Delicious Vegan Dinner - Edit
The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood. We made reservations but there was only one other table for dinner besides us. If the ambiance and service were a little sterile, the food made up for it in its deliciousness. There was no English-translation for the menu so we had fun translating ourselves. We had the cheese plate, veggie soup, tartlette, and seasonal wrap. All were very good and left no room for dessert even though there is a dessert display to knock your socks off. They also sell some vegan cheese and other items in takeaway containers.

There are some interesting menu items at this place, at least in the food selection; there are only three beers, and one doesn't have alcohol. I ordered the tuna rillettes, which were alright, and a Middle Eastern wrap, which I quite enjoyed. Friendly service.

This is an outstanding eatery. Entirely vegan with a nice smattering of choices. Cakes are the best I have seen and eaten anywhere. The vegan cheese is also very good. Note that there is a limited amount of each dish so come early to avoid disappointment

Delicious vegan meal - Edit
My girlfriend and I had the most delicious meal at Velicious. She had the vegan tuna and mayo rillettes for starters, and a vegan tartar as the main course. I had a Greek salad with vegan cheese (which tasted remarkably like a dairy equivalent) followed by a middle eastern wrap. The servings were quite generous, so much so that we had little room for dessert. Which was unfortunate because their cakes looked amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Les desserts sont des desserts à l'assiette, très élégants et raffinés. L'opéra est à tomber. Et cela fait tellement plaisir de voir un tel dessert dans un restaurant/pâtisserie vegan!
En plus les prix sont abordables et loin d'être excessifs comme l'on peut voir parfois, surtout pour cette qualité.
Nous recommandons et y reviendrons lors de notre prochain séjour à Strasbourg!

As delicious as the burgers - just perfect. I had the non-alcoholic version of the Black Forest cake. Such a nice cream and just great with the cherries and the chocolate on top.

In the evening there are warm meals and "cheese" (called F(r)auxmage - brilliant :D ) as well, which I didn't try yet.
In the restaurant there are furthermore some plant-based drinks and other products, that you can buy.

We ate here last night. The food was delicious and not just vegan delicious but delicious delicious. We both had the samosas as a starter, I had the planchette and my partner had the bowl de saison. We split an entremets aux fruits rouges as a dessert. We'll definitely come back next time we are in town.

A Real Throwback - Edit
Well, everyone seemed friendly. That is, until they found out we weren't native French speakers, at which point each and everyone of the staff started to cramp up, talk down to us and generally act as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to give them money. This kind of almost comical rudeness has become rarer and rarer in France in the last years and I was quite surprised to encounter it in a place that markets itself as progressive. So if you're nostalgic for the good old times (or if you've been blessed enough to be born a member of earth's greatest nationality), this is the place to go. The food is admittedly very good.

Oh my goodness ! This food was just amazing ! I had a lovely salad with a vegan cheese on a toast. The quantity was generous and delicious. My friend had a big wrap (so big that she couldn't finish it !) and even tough she is no vegan she loved it ! I warmly recommande that place !

A huge plus : the sommelier suggests wine pairing and let you taste several wines before you choose. He has a special interrest in natural wines, some of which are really worth a try !

I was recommended to visit this place since it szpposed to be one of the best places in Strasbourg! Damn, they were right, I only had a short time to grab something for lunch so I went with the vegan cheese plate and some white wine and I had to take with me some dessert so I chose the Black Forest cake -which was one of my favourites from the time I was a carnivore- and I just have to say the best vegan cheese I have tried so far amd the cake... so creamy, chocolaty and filling... I cannot do anything else but to recommend this place! It was a great expierence, the waiter was really really kind and helpful and for take out they have eco friendly packaging which is just a bonus.

I went to Velicious last week with my friend, and usually I am always a little nervous going to restaurants in France because we are both exchange students and neither of us are fluent in French. From the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed with warm smiles and throughout our entire stay we couldn't have felt more welcomed. They helped us through with the language barrier and never once made us feel like we were annoying them by not being able to speak fluently. The food was absolutely amazing. I have tried a lot of tasty vegan food before, although I must admit this one tops them all. From the drinks, to the meals, to the dessert, nothing could have been better. Highly recommend coming here, especially if you have family members or friends who aren't vegan, or who say they love meat and cheese too much to ever stop. I was amazed with how real and delicious their vegan meats and cheeses were... I had to keep asking myself, "is this really vegan!?" They also offer different cheeses, tofu's, ice creams... Etc for sale. Though I'd recommend coming with only the amount of money you're willing to spend, because if you bring your whole wallet you might just spend it all!

I went there for lunch with my partner. It was very busy and we couldn't get a table because we had not made a reservation. However we were able to order some take away and the food was fresh and delicious! We also tried a dessert which was to die for. The service was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the place. Just make sure you make a booking beforehand :)
