Cocina deliciosa y muy cuidada. Se nota la mano de los chefs experimentados. Pueden parecer a priori platos sencillos pero cuando los pruebas te das cuenta de que podrían ser alta cocina. Las alcachofas y la miniburguer con queso feta, mis preferidos.

Die Tapas sind ein Traum - Edit
Die Velada Bravas muss man unbedingt essen. Die waren so lecker, dass wir uns eine zweite Portion gegönnt haben. Wir können auch die Bombados und den Barbecue Burger empfehlen.

A Tapas Treasure in Barcelona - Edit
This was our second visit to Velada, and I’m certain it won’t be our last — it’s becoming a must-stop every time we’re in Barcelona!
Read moreThe setting is beautiful and wonderfully calm, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Both the waitress and chef were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm of the experience.
To drink, we indulged in a lovely, bubbly cava that went straight to our heads in the best way!
There’s a great array of tapas to choose from, and our absolute favourite were the bombas — a literal taste explosion! The teriyaki skewers weren’t quite to my taste, a bit too salty and missing the sweetness I usually associate with teriyaki. But the artichoke flowers, which are currently in season, were beautifully presented and very reasonably priced.
The tortilla was light and topped with a delicious sauce, and the pan con tomate was exactly as it should be — crispy yet fluffy with just the right amount of topping and a touch of salt. The samosa chaat was another highlight, especially with that tangy tamarind sauce!
We finished with a crème brûlée to share — an absolute delight to crack into and indulge in its creamy, sweet centre.
There are so many fantastic vegan restaurants to choose from in Barcelona, which makes it all the more a testament to Velada that we were so eager to return. A brilliant dining experience in a lovely space. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our tapas. Reasonable prices. However, the tapas did not all arrive at the same time which was a bit unfortunate. Neverless, probably one of the best choices for vegan tapas in the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Accomodated the person with a nut allergy at the next table.

Me and my boyfriend ordered 5 of the somewhat larger Tapas (in case you get smaller ones you might need one more, but ask the waitress for recommendation) - all incredibly tasty, especially the Bombas and filled Peppers! We would love to come back and try the rest of the menu 😍

So exciting being able to order anything on the menu in a tapas restaurant. We ordered 2-3 dishes each and everything was super yummy. My favourites were the bomba and croquettes. We visited on a Thursday evening quite early and it was already pretty busy, might want to book if you are planning on going on the weekend. Great to see a vegan restaurant thriving in central Barcelona!! Would recommend 💕

I don't remember the name of the dish, but the best food I had in Barcelona was here. It was one of the tapas that the waitress said is very popular and more authentic to the region. Like a croquettes but with a creamy filling instead of mushroom. Though the mushroom croquettes are also fabulous.

Really amazing tapas, went here with two non-vegans and they both raved about the food. I haven't tried the mains, but I highly recommend getting a bunch of tapas to share/to eat by yourself as there's lots of vegan versions of classic tapas to try. Amazing interior, it looks like a fancy restaurant!

On the one hand they have amazing entrees and vegetable centric dishes. On the other, their seconds are pathetic (mediocre to bad burger and quesadilla with Aldi brand quality).

Velada, the gotic place to go! - Edit
Velada is a living museum! Gorgeous place, the staff was super nice, great suggestions, the food was good and the price well balanced. I just felt like something was missing. Just like when you pack your bags before a trip...and have that weird feeling. Maybe i ate too many plates that had vegan mayo on it...anyway i recommend you go for it and dont look back!

I think this was our favorite vegan restaurant we visited in Barcelona. Excellent tapas and a cool vibe inside, with great cocktails. We enjoyed being able to sample multiple tapas. Surprisingly, the hamburger was delicious as well!

At the time the food I had here was the best vegan food that I'd ever had. I'm not sure whether that would still be the case now as it was a long time ago, but it would definitely be right up there. It was certainly the best vegan food I ate in Barcelona.

A Must Eat when in Barcelona! - Edit
I ate at Velada with my family twice a week during my 2 months in Barcelona. It is fantastic, local, Spanish style food. Additionally, it's great for kids with Burgers and patatas bravas (ask for this without the chili oil for kids). Our 5 year old son loved the burgers. Absolutely try the Croquettas, the artichoke, Rigatoni, and the Patatas Bravas. The gelato is great as well. Service is wonderful in English and Spanish plus they have very comfortable opening hours.
