Cocina deliciosa y muy cuidada. Se nota la mano de los chefs experimentados. Pueden parecer a priori platos sencillos pero cuando los pruebas te das cuenta de que podrían ser alta cocina. Las alcachofas y la miniburguer con queso feta, mis preferidos.

Go for the tapas - Edit
This place didn't exist when I lived in Barcelona, and if it did, I would've been a regular 100%. Their tapas are just amazing. Full of flavour, great value, and the presentation is beautiful. I've read in other reviews that their mains are not as stunning, so if you go for the tapas, you won't miss. The options are many and varied. I had the bravas, the artichoke flowers, and the bomba. What can I say, I enjoyed every bite and the experience was very satisfying overall. I was alone in there (it was 5pm), the place is this incredibly beautiful historic building, the music was just my personal taste, the staff was lovely... It was dreamy. I will come again for sure, alone and with company.

I cannot put into words how great this restaurant is. I loooooved it!!!!! We went there for lunch after a street art bike tour and it was amazing. We had a bunch of tapas, a burger and a bikini and every dish amazed me. I will definetely come back. This place filled my heart with love and my belly with good food and my mouth with aaaaall the taste and texture. I felt like I was in food heaven.

We were looking forward to this meal experience but it was a letdown. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, in a historic space and the decor is lovely and well curated. We had a cheese plate to start and a couple of burgers. The cheese plate came out within a couple of minutes of ordering. The cheese was similar to store bought, one cashew based and one coconut. 4 small pieces of each. It came with crackers, a few grapes, walnuts and a relish. Underwhelming taste (apart from the crackers which were delicious) and presentation.
Read moreThe burgers were basic, one beyond meat and one chkn, both in brioche buns with a very small side salad. There is plentiful, great vegan food in Barcelona. This was, as I said previously, underwhelming. Perhaps we just chose the wrong options.

Top-Rated for a Reason – Velada Delivers - Edit
I wanted to see for myself why Velada is considered one of the best vegan spots in Barcelona — and honestly, it lives up to the hype. The tapas were excellent: I tried the artichokes, stuffed peppers, and hummus. I also had a colourful dish called “Rainbow,” which felt like a little celebration of Pride right on the plate. To finish, I enjoyed the cake of the day — a delicious pistachio piece. A beautifully crafted vegan experience, both in flavour and spirit.

Read moreHo preso un non salmon e avocado toast che però mi ha un po’ deluso sia per dimensioni (ecco perché non amo le tapas) sia per consistenze: mi aspettavo un pane croccante e invece era morbido. Prezzo €9,50. Ottime le polpettine di funghi, e abbiamo preso poi un burger bello gustoso con patatine super croccanti. Dolci non male ma non mi hanno esaltata.

We ordered the pasta and a bowl off the main dishes, they tasted decent.
Read moreThe pasta was supposed to have a vegan parmigiana, which you could barely taste, and came in a tiny bowl with approx 12 pieces of pasta.
The bowl came on a plate, which was interesting, and came with 4 small pieces of tofu. 80 percent of the plate was arugula to make it look more full.
Additionally, we had to pay 2.5 euro for what tasted like tap water.

We ordered a mix of dfferent tapas, tortilla, croquettas, artichoke flowers, samosa... All very yummy. The presentation was beautiful and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. The croquettas were absolutly amazing, overall a wonderful place for vegans to eat in the heart of barcelona.

We called in for a late lunch, I had the tikka cauliflower, Spanish tortilla and velada patatas and all were top class. My son had the no chicken burger plus he had the chocolate truffles after as well. Everything was delicious. The tapas were more than enough portion wise for me. So good!

Perfect for vegetarian/vegans who want to try tapas! I had the nicest experience here, the staff were lovely, we were seated and served quickly. I highly recommend their food. It was delicious. Now I have to stop myself from going back everyday while I'm here in Barcelona. Chefs kiss!

Die Velada Bravas muss man unbedingt essen. Die waren so lecker, dass wir uns eine zweite Portion gegönnt haben. Wir können auch die Bombados und den Barbecue Burger empfehlen.

This was our second visit to Velada, and I’m certain it won’t be our last — it’s becoming a must-stop every time we’re in Barcelona!
Read moreThe setting is beautiful and wonderfully calm, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Both the waitress and chef were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm of the experience.
To drink, we indulged in a lovely, bubbly cava that went straight to our heads in the best way!
There’s a great array of tapas to choose from, and our absolute favourite were the bombas — a literal taste explosion! The teriyaki skewers weren’t quite to my taste, a bit too salty and missing the sweetness I usually associate with teriyaki. But the artichoke flowers, which are currently in season, were beautifully presented and very reasonably priced.
The tortilla was light and topped with a delicious sauce, and the pan con tomate was exactly as it should be — crispy yet fluffy with just the right amount of topping and a touch of salt. The samosa chaat was another highlight, especially with that tangy tamarind sauce!
We finished with a crème brûlée to share — an absolute delight to crack into and indulge in its creamy, sweet centre.
There are so many fantastic vegan restaurants to choose from in Barcelona, which makes it all the more a testament to Velada that we were so eager to return. A brilliant dining experience in a lovely space. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our tapas. Reasonable prices. However, the tapas did not all arrive at the same time which was a bit unfortunate. Neverless, probably one of the best choices for vegan tapas in the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Accomodated the person with a nut allergy at the next table.
