La comida china vegana mas rica de Panamá

Amo Vegsu! Siempre hay un ambiente acogedor y la comida es muy rica. Variedad de platos y diferentes precios. El Chowmein de puerco vegano es mi favorito y la sopa de dumplings también!

Exquisite Chinese Vegan Food with Excellent Service!

Vegsu used to be a vegetarian restaurant. I asked about animal ingredients (on April, 2022) & they said they have switched to be 100% vegan now. I specifically asked if honey was part of the sauces & they said they use maple & other plant-based sweeteners.

The dishes we have tried so far are really tasty (highly recommended):

- Tempura duck with sweet & sour sauce (popular)
- Seitan pork (popular)
- Shiitake mushrooms with broccoli & cilantro with ajonjoli (sesame) seeds in delicious sauce
- Fried rice with little seitan pork pieces
- Siu mai (artisanal, not imported)
- Chiong fun (rice noodle wrap) with pork inside
- Ham pao (2 units): filled with pork, it has a gingery flavour

There are dishes you can choose to have steamed or fried such as the Siu Mai or the algae 'fish' rolls.

Note about the siu mai: it is delicious but not salty like animal-based siu mai, expect a different almost spicy flavour. Might be nutty sometimes.

They always give traditional jasmine tea, great for a better digestion (on the house).

Prices are more than reasonable given how unique & how much care they put into each dish. I would say it is completely worth it!

We are big fans now! We will keep going to try more of the many dishes.

They also sell some vegan ingredients & products for home cooking.

Get the vegan duck!

We ordered chow mein, curry rice, tofu stir-fry, and vegan duck in sweet and sour sauce. I have no idea what duck is supposed to taste like, but the vegan duck was by far my favorite. Prices were very reasonable as well, and service was friendly. If I ever go back to Panama, I will make sure to stop by here again!

Uno de mis restaurantes favoritos

Vegsu es un restaurante con muchas opciones veganas (Son como de 3 a 4 productos del menú que son vegetarianos) y suelen añadir diversos productos a su menú constantemente.
Cuentan con opciones Gluten Free
Las salsas son a base de veganesa y utilizan maple y endulzantes de origen vegetal.
Tienen una gran variedad de comida a un buen precio y he tenido la oportunidad de probar diversos platos aquí y ninguno me ha defraudado, entre ellos he probado:
- Rollitos de primavera
- Brocheta de Siu Mai Frito
- Hampao De puerco vegano (a base de seitan)
- Dumpling fritos
- Pato Vegano en tempura
-Muslo de hongos apanados
-Pescado vegano en salsa agridulce
- Puerco asado vegano (seitan)
-Stir Fried Chow Mein
-Pato Vegano en salsa agridulce
- Costilla Agridulce vegano
- Arroz frito con puerco Vegano
- Chow Mein Con Puerco Vegano
- Chow Fun con puerco vegano
Siempre dan el tradicional té de jazmín antes de pedir el cuál es completamente gratis.
Tienen neveras con sus productos congelados y son muy fáciles y rápidos de hacer en casa.
De las neveras recomiendo los hampaos de puerco y vegetales, wotips, el filete de soya vegetariano marca Dim Sam (a base de soya y algas estilo pescado), gluten asado (seitán) marca Dim Sam
Y también tienen sopas instantáneas veganas (la mejor es la del paquete verde)

Pros: Excelente comida calidad y precio, Gran variedad de platillos , Personal muy atento y amable

Really good food and an extensive menu

I was impressed with the menu here and the food was definitely some of the best Asian food I've had in all of Central America. The mock meats and sauces taste authentic and I love the food train that delivers your dishes.

After ordering and eating everything, I looked at the menu again to order a drink and noticed one the said it wasn't vegan. I wasn't expecting that given the restaurant is advertised as a vegan restaurant. It makes me wonder if the mayonnaise on our food was actually vegan because it tasted really similar to the real thing...

Really Good! You must go.

Vegsu since his open has been the best option for me and my partner to go. It is affordable and very delicious for sure, the best vegan Chinese option here in Panamá

Best Chinese Vegan Food out there

As a panamanian, I love dimsum breakfast, but there were no vegan options to scratch that itch. That is, until Vegsu came up. I would say, even comparing the dimsum to Lung Fung or Sunly, Vegsu has the best dimsum options available. They invented the "fried siumai", they have hakao, xixonfan, and an exquisite "costillitas". In addition to the dimsum, they also have a wide array of chinese food, and all that we have tried have been amazing. I cannot reccomend Vegsu enough. It is the best vegan restaurant in Panama.

Asian Gem

This Asian vegan restaurant has alot of choices to try. I tried quite a few items and the prices were very reasonable. The jasmine tea was great as was the fruit juice. All of the food was good. The exceptional items were the duck and the pork. The combination fried rice was okay. You can even purchase frozen vegan food to take home and cook yourself. The service was good too. They also have almond and coconut milk for coffee. Definitely give this restaurant a try.

Great food excellent prices

New restaurant in Condado del Rey, everything was delicious and the service was nice. Lots of vegan options and also you can buy frozen vegan dim sum to make at home.

Pros: Food is delicious , Great attention , Family owned

Cons: Restaurant is small , No phone , No delivery at the moment
