Wide Range of Options, Rotating Seasonal Choices - Edit
I first had Veggie Grill when I visited California, went on two separate occasions and then unfortunately headed back to the East Coast, where it's not an option. Finally got to have a Veggie Grill fix again last year visiting Seattle, and I still find myself checking out the seasonal options from time to time. Everything I've gotten from here has been excellent from the Buffalo Bomber, to the VG Burger, to the Baja Fish Tacos. I usually stick to water when I go places, but at one time they had a matcha horchata, it was excellent and hopefully they bring it back. If you're looking for some vegan food fairly fast and want a bunch of different options, Veggie Grill is a solid choice.

Good value - Edit
100% vegan, budget friendly menu. A lot of variety, covering all kinds of cuisine: North American, Latin American, and Asian. The menu is mostly stable but there are seasonal menu items as well.

Not my favorite location - Edit
I have been going to veggie grill for years, I usually like most of their food however I have noticed that this location isn't as good as it used to be. The portions are smaller and there's just not the same quality.

Happy to support a plant-based company - Edit
Was in downtown Seattle and looking for a quick meal nearby. Hadn't been to Veggie Grill since it had been taken over by Next Level founders. I've always found Veggie Grill to be "pretty good" never "great". Found it the same now, which the fact that it is a Vegan chain, makes it pretty awesome in the big scheme of things.
Read moreI had the Kimchi Steak Bowl and it was pretty good. I knew I was eating something healthy and flavorful.
I would certainly recommend if you are hungry and want to support a plant-based company.
Pros: Convenient location downtown Seattle, Plant-based company

Not so good - Edit
I had the “SoCal Veggie Burger”. If it had been my first vegan burger it would have probably also been my last. The taste was boring and there were some hard clumps in between the patty. I would assume there must be also better vegan burgers in Seattle.

Really tasty meal - Edit
I had the Far East Thai chick’n bowl, it was really tasty, had a bit of spice, would definitely have it again. The service was quick, and the premises clean.

Good Enough - Edit
I was within walking distance coming from a nearby event with my partner and we were starving. I hadn’t been to a Veggie Grill prior so I wanted to give it a try. Menu was pretty standard and it had a very comfortable atmosphere. Prices were admittedly way too high especially for the proportions. Everything we ordered fell pretty comfortably in the “fine to decent” range. Nothing was blatantly bad but some things felt almost freezer section quality. I will say the drinks we got were pretty good but otherwise I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Too many great vegan restaurants in the area to justify the trip here. If you’re starving and happen to be very close by, it’s serviceable.

Cons: Expensive, Small Portions, Nothing stands out on the Menu

I'm glad it's around. - Edit
I prefer to support small biz, so I tend to only hit Veggie Grill when they’re offering up a deal, most recently BOGO salads. I’m not a fan of raw kale, especially when it’s not massaged, so the salads are a miss for me.
Read moreI’m mostly disappointed that every damn time I’ve gotten the Far East Thai Chick’n Bowl, I’ve had to pick out cilantro with big black spots. Don’t eat that sh*t.
I think the mac + cheese should be limited to the kids menu bc it’s sooo bland. I gave it a 2nd chance + added a pinch of salt + it still tasted like buttery noodles w/a hint of cheese.
They’ve got some solid choices tho! Like the Pesto Chik’n Parm + (my partner’s fave) the Santa Fe Chick’n. The Sweetheart Fries are good too.
Pros: BOGO deals, rewards program
Cons: lacking quality control

You get a $10 discount when you sign up and the tofu sesame bowl was very tasty. The quinoa burger is also very nice and light. Highly recommended!

I appreciated having this vegan option for lunch during my stay in Seattle. I had the buffalo chicken which was not very healthy but tasty. The cookies unfortunately were hard and not good.

Still as good as ever - Edit
The Seattle location was the first I checked out after VG got acquired by Next Level. Food was as good as I remember it being, if not better. All very fresh, flavourable, and reasonable pricing.
Read moreAlso the staff at this location were stellar--very attentive and helpful to everyone who came through. Would not hesitate to come back here, even though I usually don't make a point to go to chains.

Great food! Really nice staff. They have a binder of ingredients in every single dish, so if you have a question about what is in something, they can let you know! I got the chick’s sandwich and it was great. Super crispy?

Buffalo sauce was OK, ranch dressing was a little bland and the mac & cheese was probably the worst I’ve ever had.

One of the best burgers I've had - Edit
This fast food joint was much better than I expected - honestly one of the best vegan burgers I've had! Simple but flavourful, super juicy, and not a ridiculously large portion size.

Just WOW! - Edit
I wish we had Veggie Grills all over the States…I’m not sure I would ever cook again! We popped into Seattle for a few hours and the Veggie Grill had over 100 reviews…so of course we went there and I’m so glad we did.
Read moreWe both ordered a Lentil Soup and the Cali Tempeh Power Bowl and my husband ordered extra tempeh. The bowl has organic ancient grains, organic glazed tempeh, and organic power greens marinated in mango-lemon vinaigrette with organic avocado, toasted almonds, dried cranberries, spiced pepita seeds, and sesame gochu drizzle. The soup and Bowl came out to about $20 each tax. The bowl had a nice kick and the flavors mixed brilliantly with the textures of the ingredients. I wish I had one nearby where I live in FL so I could try everything!

Convenient option, Fast food - Edit
I was hoping with the buyout by Next Level Burger, that Veggie Grill would up its quality a bit to match the very good stuff from NLB. Sadly it is still just a “pretty good” restaurant for vegans. Some options are better than others - their “banh mi” is delicious, while their “buffalo bomber” sandwich is meh.
Read moreIt’s convenient and quick, but certainly not a place I would take non-vegans to show them the wonders of vegan food. Also, portions feel smaller than comparable vegan diner/burger joints. At least the sandwiches I’ve gotten here are small, but maybe their bowls and salads are more generous.
Pros: Big menu, Healthy options
Cons: Small burgers, Bad fries

Quality has really gone downhill since the original location closed. - Edit
Maybe the new owners will revitalize it but this is the chilis of vegan food. Microwaved frozen junk for twice the price.
