Wide Range of Options, Rotating Seasonal Choices - Edit
I first had Veggie Grill when I visited California, went on two separate occasions and then unfortunately headed back to the East Coast, where it's not an option. Finally got to have a Veggie Grill fix again last year visiting Seattle, and I still find myself checking out the seasonal options from time to time. Everything I've gotten from here has been excellent from the Buffalo Bomber, to the VG Burger, to the Baja Fish Tacos. I usually stick to water when I go places, but at one time they had a matcha horchata, it was excellent and hopefully they bring it back. If you're looking for some vegan food fairly fast and want a bunch of different options, Veggie Grill is a solid choice.

Reliable downtown option! - Edit
Surprising variety of options, from “healthy” to indulgent. Space is clean and service is friendly and quick. Not too far from Pike Place Market either!

Massive menu - Edit
They have an extensive menu from burgers to bowls to salads and protein plates. You order on a machine and it is brought to your table. You need to collect your drinks though at the counter. We chose a beyond burger and a chkn burger, both with the Yo! fried egg, fries, and a portion of mac n cheese. Service was fairly quick, but there is no staff interaction. We really liked the Yo! Egg and it has lots of yolk. All the food was tasty. It's easy to find and has plenty of tables.

Good - Edit
We had the teriyaki bowl, and the FAR EAST THAI. Far east Thai was ok. The chick’in and tofu were very good. Loved that they had and kids menu and high chairs. My kids loved the rice bowl and Mac and cheese

Vegan Fast Food That Hits the Spot - Edit
We’ve been to three Veggie Grill locations this week and it’s become our go-to for a quick vegan bite. It’s like fast food, but elevated. The kids love it, the service is always friendly, and while it’s not gourmet, it consistently hits the spot. Grateful this place exist.

A must in Seattle - the menu is extensive!! - Edit
Fabulous menu and everything was delicious. We went for brunch and had Junior Burger, Chez Burger, Mac n Cheese, Lentil Soup, Cauliflower Bites (top choice), Sesame Tofu Bowl and the Very Berry and Tropical Tonic Smoothies. But what I really wanted was the Yo! Egg. And it not disappoint!

Veggie Grill - Edit
A lot of spicy dishes, or did I just have a bad day? Homemade soup is probably good but I didn't like it. It was too spicy to enjoy. I'm not the one who trash the food but I cannot ate it. Mac and cheese was really good (A bit spicy). Burgers were excellent.

Not my favorite location - Edit
I have been going to veggie grill for years, I usually like most of their food however I have noticed that this location isn't as good as it used to be. The portions are smaller and there's just not the same quality.

Happy to support a plant-based company - Edit
Was in downtown Seattle and looking for a quick meal nearby. Hadn't been to Veggie Grill since it had been taken over by Next Level founders. I've always found Veggie Grill to be "pretty good" never "great". Found it the same now, which the fact that it is a Vegan chain, makes it pretty awesome in the big scheme of things.
Read moreI had the Kimchi Steak Bowl and it was pretty good. I knew I was eating something healthy and flavorful.
I would certainly recommend if you are hungry and want to support a plant-based company.

Not so good - Edit
I had the “SoCal Veggie Burger”. If it had been my first vegan burger it would have probably also been my last. The taste was boring and there were some hard clumps in between the patty. I would assume there must be also better vegan burgers in Seattle.

Good Enough - Edit
I was within walking distance coming from a nearby event with my partner and we were starving. I hadn’t been to a Veggie Grill prior so I wanted to give it a try. Menu was pretty standard and it had a very comfortable atmosphere. Prices were admittedly way too high especially for the proportions. Everything we ordered fell pretty comfortably in the “fine to decent” range. Nothing was blatantly bad but some things felt almost freezer section quality. I will say the drinks we got were pretty good but otherwise I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Too many great vegan restaurants in the area to justify the trip here. If you’re starving and happen to be very close by, it’s serviceable.

Cons: Expensive, Small Portions, Nothing stands out on the Menu

I'm glad it's around. - Edit
I prefer to support small biz, so I tend to only hit Veggie Grill when they’re offering up a deal, most recently BOGO salads. I’m not a fan of raw kale, especially when it’s not massaged, so the salads are a miss for me.
Read moreI’m mostly disappointed that every damn time I’ve gotten the Far East Thai Chick’n Bowl, I’ve had to pick out cilantro with big black spots. Don’t eat that sh*t.
I think the mac + cheese should be limited to the kids menu bc it’s sooo bland. I gave it a 2nd chance + added a pinch of salt + it still tasted like buttery noodles w/a hint of cheese.
They’ve got some solid choices tho! Like the Pesto Chik’n Parm + (my partner’s fave) the Santa Fe Chick’n. The Sweetheart Fries are good too.
Pros: BOGO deals, rewards program
Cons: lacking quality control

I appreciated having this vegan option for lunch during my stay in Seattle. I had the buffalo chicken which was not very healthy but tasty. The cookies unfortunately were hard and not good.

Great food! Really nice staff. They have a binder of ingredients in every single dish, so if you have a question about what is in something, they can let you know! I got the chick’s sandwich and it was great. Super crispy?
