Perfect diner food!

I asked the server and she recommended the Harlem-style chopped cheese hero, which is in the pictures and FANTASTIC! Everything can be prepared vegan, and of course that's what I did. Quite delicious food, and quick service. It's located centrally and lots of who won and then otherwise cold grooming Boston Cambridge day. Artisanal sodas as well with free refills. Affordable. Big space. #Veganuary

Delightful

An amazing downtown location, humorously across the street from a McDonalds too! Fair prices for delicious food, I wanted 3 different entrees from the expansive menu! The service and cleanliness of the restaurant was also efficient and impressive. Our waitress made a personal connection with us and continuously checked on us. I look forward to
Coming back to this veggie diner 💛

Pros: Menu, Creativity , Service

Out of this World

This place is an excellent diner with amazing food.

It just so happens to be entirely vegetarian, and everything can be made vegan.

All of the cakes are vegan as well, I’m told, and there were a lot of options.

I had the chicken & waffles (best vegan I’ve ever had, and possibly best I’ve ever had), and everyone we came with loved the place and the food (the four adults we came with all eat meat at least some of the time).

My wife loved the gyro and the cauliflower.

Really great place. We’ll be back!

Best 1950's Diner Vibes

I love this place so much! The milkshakes are amazing, and I always get the chick'n and waffles!

The vibe is 1950's diner, with the best twist ever: vegan/ vegetarian! If you love mac n' cheese, or want diner breakfast food, this is the place! My boyfriend isn't vegan, and this has become his favourite breakfast spot! You can't beat the vibes and prices of their food.

Pros: All vegan baked goods, Diner vibes, Mac n' cheese bites are great!

Cons: Long wait everytime

Pre-Thanksgiving Lunch

I went to Veggie Galaxy a couple of days before Thanksgiving to pick up my pre-ordered Thanksgiving plate and pie (separate review to come) and I had to get their Blue Plate Special, which is the Moistmaker. Remember that post-Thanksgiving episode of Friends where Ross made the sandwich with leftovers and a gravy-soaked piece of bread in the middle? Imagine a vegan version. Seitan turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and cranberry sauce. It was amazing (and I hate mushrooms). Needless to say, I couldn’t eat it as a sandwich, so that big knife came in handy!

Expansive menu and quick service

Ordered the vegan versions of the Great Galaxy Breakfast Sandwich and the Rachel sandwich for in-store pick-up. It only took them 15 minutes to prepare, and both were delicious!

Vegan heaven

Loved having soo many options! Smart to have the dessert options on display as customers walk in. I still ordered too much and had to bring home half my entree (and the generous slice of banana cream pie).

Pros: Friendly service , Food arrives fast, Delicious!!

Still not 100% Vegan - WHY?!!

In spite of the fact that they're STILL not 100% Vegan, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything I've ever eaten here....not only that, but ALL their desserts ARE 100% Vegan. If you've never been to Boston, then SERIOUSLY, GET YOUR A-R-S-E over here, and go to Veggie Galaxy...you WON'T be sorry!

Pros: Many items on menu are Vegan by default, Menu items that AREN'T Vegan can be made so, Large variety of food choices AND desserts!

There is an awesome place in Nassau County, on Hempstead Tpke, called The Witches Brew. It’s been around a while and they could easily have an all vegan menu but don’t. That being said, the vegan stuff they do serve is great. I hope you get to go there one day.

I've missed diner food

The clinks and chitter chatter add to the experience of this diner. Everything on the menu can be made vegan, if it's not already vegan. The menu is huge and I wasn't sure where to start. Breakfast seemed like a good idea, so I had the chocolate chip GF short stack pancakes and the green omelet. WOW! Just wow. The flavors of the omelet were spot on and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Their caramelized banana butter tasted like bananas foster and it was more like dessert. Zero complaints here. I wish there was a Veggie Galaxy closer to home.
There are plenty of gluten free options, including subs for toasts, buns, pancakes, etc. There's definitely something for everyone.

Pros: Everything can be made vegan , Plenty of gluten free options, Excellent coffee

Just go vegan already!

I want to give them five stars since I love the food, but I’m saving that for if they ever go fully vegan. I’m fully confident that they could and it wouldn’t scare off the vegetarians and omnis, they’d probably never even know!

The food here is what you’d expect from the diner theme: all-day breakfast, rotating baked goods, shakes, burgers, fries, sandwiches, etc. It’s a whole bunch of unpretentious classic comfort foods done well and all available vegan. You’ll have zero problems pleasing a crowd here, including children, and anyone who claims otherwise is just unfairly judging it for not being meat.

Staff are nice, outdoor seating is nice, and pricing is really reasonable by vegan restaurant in Cambridge center standards — which is to say pricy anywhere else but a relative bargain in the context of Boston’s absolutely absurd cost of living.

Oh, and the potato salad goes surprisingly hard here, so make sure to get it as a side!

Huge menu, 3.75/5 ⭐️

Service was excellent, Friday night and we didn’t even have to wait for a table.
Unfortunately, they were out of the mozzarella sticks (one of the reasons we chose this spot!) which was very disappointing. So we started with the Poutine and Onion Rings. Poutine was out of this world, even my 11 month old loved it!! Onion rings could’ve been skipped.

For our entrees we got the “steak” and cheese, Mac and Stack and the broccoli cheddar soup!

The steak and cheese tasted like a sausage and cheese, not worth it.
And the Broccoli cheddar soup tasted as if was from a can, not a fan.

Overall, the Poutine was the stand out dish, I’d give this place 3.75/5 ⭐️

Pros: Great service , POUTINE, Affordable

Cons: Out of mozzarella sticks, “Steak” and cheese

Out of this world!

Amazing dinner style fare! Has eggs and cheese but can make anything veganized. Entire bakery is vegan as well as all of their sauces and frappes. Definitely go for the buffalo chikn! The portions are monster sized! Good selection of brews and drinks. The staff is really nice and service is quick and infinitely accommodating.

At this point I believe I’ve had everything on the menu and you can’t go wrong!

Plus weekend doughnuts are back!

Please go fully vegan!

The vegan food is beyond amazing!!! Everything I tried was delicious. The only reason I’m rating 4 stars is because I truly believe this restaurant can be fully vegan. Your vegan food is so amazing, please ditch all animal products and go fully vegan.

Dreaming of their mac n cheese rn

Delicious diner-style food and all of it can be made vegan! So good we went twice in two days 😆 The vegan mac n cheese is TO DIE FOR! Literally the best I’ve had in maybe my entire life?? How do they make it?? We tried their hot chicken sandwich, mac stack sandwich, meatball sub, and stuffed French toast. I definitely preferred the savory dishes over sweet, but wish we could go back to try more.

Pros: Vegan Mac n cheese is life changing, Huge portions, Employees are super friendly
