The word “canteen” in the shop name might not sound very appealing to some people, but don’t let that fool you. We (2 pax) decided to check it out—it’s located on the 2nd floor—and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable the place is. There are air-conditioners and fans, and the boss was super friendly and helpful.
Read moreWe ordered egg fried rice (requested no vegetables), fried kuay teow, and a small portion of cereal prawns to share. One great thing about the menu is that the food is all MSG-free.
Now, about the taste—we were honestly surprised! Even the egg fried rice without any veggies tasted great. But personally, I liked the fried kuay teow the most—so good!
If you’re vegetarian, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Come see if it suits your taste!
