Fully vegan and MSG-free! - Edit
This is a long-established vegan buffet and noodle shop in Hualien city. The food is not too oily unlike many other similar buffets, and it also claims to be MSG-free! They follow the zen buddhist tradition, so no garlic or onions are used as well. If you want a cheap, healthy and 'pure' vegan meal in Hualien, this is a good choice. Just make sure you don't arrive too late, as all the good dishes may be gone by the time you arrive.
