Fantastic pizza - Edit
Cute restaurant with delicious pizza and sangria! The apple strudel was lukewarm and not as tasty as it could have been, but otherwise a lovely meal.

Las opciones veganas estaban claras, pero eso no lo salva de ser un lugar caro para lo que es la comida.

Run It Back! - Edit
Once I touched down into Barcelona, my first foodie mission was to find a vegan paella and sangria. And BOOM, found Vegetalia (Born location). I ordered the pan con tomate, seitàn empanadas (BOMB!!) and the veggie paella w/ a sangria. Mission accomplished. Lol Few days later, I had to run it back and order more of those empanadas. Also tried their version of patatas bravas. *Chef's kiss 😙👌🏽*

Pet friendly - Edit
We had a great paella and good smoothie, but the best thing was that it was pet friendly. It's hard to find a place where we can take our dog inside, so we where happy they let us sit in one part of the restaurant and then the food was really good and healthy. Two big plus.

I Love This Place - Edit
This particular location is very relaxed with great service fantastic vegan meals, pastry and tea. If you are just taking a break from your winding walk through El Born and The Gothic with a cup of tea, or if you want to completely indulge in a vegan feast, this is your spot.

Food was ok. Service, room for improvement - Edit
Had the veggie paella, risotto, and empanada. Not terrible, just nothing special. Our table was having a conversation about this banner we saw earlier about Tourism killing Barcelona and our server chimed in a little aggressively about how true it was. And I'm sitting there thinking, "why is this person hating on us" lol. It was a bit awkward. Definitely killed the mood especially when we were having a great time. Anyway, we had a bit of debate with her but she was pretty relentless, definitely not open to a meaningful discussion. Probably wouldn't go back. But for the vegetarians visiting, worth a try because it's an all veggie menu, and hoping you get a different server.

The vegan chicken style was amazing - Edit
Nice and calm restaurant. The menu has plenty of yummy vegan options. I had the empanadas de la casa which was lovely, although a bit cold inside. The vegan chicken style dish " Heura amb verdures saltejades I salsa de cacauets" was beautiful. For dessert I had crema catalana. Staff were friendly and service was really quick.

just OK - Edit
2nd time here and it’s an ok option, but not one I will be eager to try again. nothing terrible, but nothing great either. tables are a bit cramped and uncomfortable. there’s little ambience. the menu is ok, reasonable vegan options, some quite healthy, others not. Super food salad was super-small. vegetalia bakes potatoes drenched in oil (why? there’s oil on the table, I cAn put it on myself!) and some undoubtedly unhealthy salsa. dirty wine glass. friendly enough service, if not that efficient (waited at the door 5 minutes to ask for a table when it wasn’t even busy.

Not a great experience - Edit
Disappointing experience. Food came really late and cold, seems like it was just sitting there untill we spoke up. Vegan options are limited. I got the premium burger but I didn't like it. Not the best experience in my opinion.

Meh - Edit
Pretty disappointing and quite overpriced here. We chose the sharing plate which was meant to be a selection of starters, but was mainly salad houmus and bread. My moving mountains burger was really greasy and not that great. Serves with some very dry hard vegetable chips. Came to over 40 euros for 2 burgers and the sharing plate. Have had a lot better in Barcelona.
