Offers daily menus with soups, pastas, seitan, tofu, tempeh, curries, house-made bread, various salads, and raw and gluten-free dishes, as well as sweets and cakes. Serves eco wine and beer, coffee and tea, as well as freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. Located 10-minute walk from Ban Jelacic square, follow the Vlaska street to the east. Open Mon-Sun 12:00-20:00.

Located in a courtyard, this tiny restaurant is a nice discovery. The lasagnas were tasty and well seasoned. The avocado burger was also delicious and copious !

We were very impressed with the nutritional value of the food. It is not just burgers, but a carefully chosen daily menu that is filling, healthy and perfectly seasoned. The service was top notch. You can pay by card.

Cute local place with a changing daily menu for 83 Kuna (soup, salad, main). I enjoyed it although some of it was a bit underseasoned and the service took a while but was very friendly.

Staff is very friendly and they can pack leftovers if you couldn’t finish everything. Had a great experience, the prices aren’t crazy for most dishes and the food was good, they even served fresh warm bread. It’s in the center but somewhat confusing to locate if using google maps.

Read moreI had the tomato pasta with tofu, it was nice but nothing I couldn't have made easily at home. Could have used a little more spices perhaps. I also had the fresh watermelon juice which was delicious. Would go back again and try something else.

I had the vegan lasagna with soy flakes and it was really good! For dessert I had the banana and apple cake which was so delicious! 4 Stars because the lasagna could have been spicier.

A great, little (kind of hidden), vegan restaurant serving a variety of à la carte dishes as well as a daily special recreating classic Croatian dishes in a vegan way (which we opted for!). Super friendly service! Highly recommended!

This was our first meal after arriving in Zagreb after a long train ride. The menu is huge, but we opted for the daily meal which was a generous serving. It was only moderately busy and the service was very friendly. Would definitely return.

They have plenty of options and one more delicious than the next. Our waitress helped us make some decisions and she nailed it. Even our carnivore friend loved every bite.

I almost didn’t find Vegehop, I walked past the board twice before realising I wasn’t paying attention - look out for it at the end of the lane!!
Read moreThe food here was tasty, with a large menu of options to choose from. I had the daily menu, which consisted of mushroom soup, then a couscous and black bean dish with fried tofu, veggies and salad, and then a yummy slice of hazelnut cake. It is a lovely little oasis not far from the centre of Zagreb, well worth the walk.
Just be sure to take cash as they do not accept card payment.

One of THE vegan places in Zagreb - Edit
Vegehop is a little outside the immediate city centre (still very much walking distance!) and hidden in a backyard. So when I went there on a Friday evening, it was rather empty. I hope that's not always the case because this place is definitely worth checking out! I had the daily special which I liked. And then I had to choose one of their cakes - they all looked amazing. In the end, I went for the one that was by far the most popular one according to the very nice waitress: the chocolate cake with cherry and cream. All together I paid around 120 kunas (16 euros), which felt like a fair price to me.
