Service was amazing. Food was off the charts. Ambiance aplenty. Desserts were insane. Smoothies delish. Will be back for more asap!

Mostly good, friendly staff - Edit
My pad Thai tasted great, seasoned real well with a lot of veggies. The waiter herself said, it was a great choice. We took two cakes to go, which were great as well. The daily menu was a lasagna. My mum's was cold upon arrival, the second time around it was just warm. Taste wise it was good.
Read moreWhen we got there the place was almost empty, but it filled up very quickly after us. Since the one waiter was by herself and had to prepare all the drinks, there was a bit of a wait time. But she was friendly throughout and did her best to make us feel welcome and attended to.
Pros: Great Pad Thai, Friendly staff, Amazing cakes
Cons: One main arrived cold

Cute bistro with community vibe - Edit
I had a few hours to find food in Zagreb on my way from Gdańsk, Poland, to Rijeka on the coast. Vegehop seemed conveniently located, just a 15 minute walk from the bus station, so I decided to have lunch there. Hungry after the two flights, I went for the daily menu for 17,20€: the appetiser „spring green soup“ and main course which consisted of different dishes: „oriental carrot and purple cabbage salad“, „arancini in tempeh ragu sauce“ and „potatoes and green beans glazed with soy sauce“. A nice combination of classics & novelties. The food was fresh and tasty, and during lunchtime, the restaurant was full of customers, many of whom seemed to be regulars. Service was very attentive and kind and I left with a full stomach and good mood.

delicious and filling - Edit
Tried the daily special for a late lunch (that day it was Pea Cream Soup, Breaded Oyster Mushrooms in Oatmeal Flakes, Mlinci with Leeks, Sour Turnip, Cream with Horseradish, and Mixed Salad with Sprouts) and added the freshly squeezed mixed juice. Very filling and had leftovers. Also got a burrito to-go to take on a tour the next day and it was also tasty. The space seems very homey and community-oriented.

Verry good - Edit
Staff was really friendly and the food delicious. Cozy little place. We had the daily special and the pad thai. Good sized portions. The dessert was also good, not to sweet what we prefer.

Many options of tasty dishes - Edit
I liked how there's so many different options from burger to gnocchi to pad thai and even simple things like fried tofu. You can definitely find something for everyone even if you come with non vegans 😉.

Excellent cakes, friendly and open on Sundays! - Edit
This place is lovely. Its small and a little out of the centre but well worth the effort. All vegan except for the lasange (they keep promising to veganise this too). It was considered expensive by our local anarcho vegan folk but for us Londoners it was reasonably priced and a great find. A real bonus about Vegehop is that it is about the only vegan place open on a Sunday - curse this Christian dominated country!
Read moreThe daily menu is always served quickly and is usually good value and tasty. Treat yourself to one of their cakes, they vary and are usually excellent.
June 2022 and vegehop is still the best of the well priced vegan outlets in Zagreb, daily menu is always good value and quick.
Aug 2025, Vegehop is still a great place to get good healthy vegan food and decadent cakes! Long May it continue!

My last meal in Zagreb on a Saturday early afternoon. There was a steady stream of customers- there was I think 6 tables capacity.
Read moreVery helpful and friendly service and they really know what vegan is!
Fresh real food.
Sadly for me no real coffee when I called on 28/06/25.
My son had the set menu and I had the tofu burger with sweet potato fries. I wish I had not ordered the fries it was too much for me. I think there was a whole packet of tofu in the burger!
My son's meal looked really good and this was confirmed by him.
Great service too.

Very nice fully-vegan place! - Edit
This is a vegan gem in Zagreb. We loved the daily menu that included a soup, a main dish, and a salad. Everything is healthy, well-balanced, and nutritious. The prices are much better than in other places in the city. Loved it. :)
