Excellent food in breathtaking location - Edit
My partner and I were in Prague for four days and we came to this restaurant five times. I love trying their traditional Czech dishes done Vegan style! Definitely make a reservation to be sat on the patio upstairs. That view is to die for! Our servers were also so friendly. I recommend this to all my friends traveling to Prague and am so excited to return soon!

We used to come to LoVeg (what this place used to be called) every time we went to Prague - even if it was just to have some sweet dumplings for desert, but when we came yesterday the name had changed and unfortunately with it the dumplings. The presentation and the taste weren't sadly as good - we will however give it another try for lunch or dinner...

We happened in the restaurant walking down from the castle. The restaurant is the top two levels so it’s quite a walk up the stairs. We sat outside on the small terrace and enjoyed the rooftop view. We had a carrot-ginger soup and tried traditional Czech entrees. It was all delicious! The servers were very friendly.

Nice vegan restaurant choice in Prague! - Edit
We was there on 4/8 for lunch and were ushered by friendly staff to the upstairs table where the view from the window is beautiful. My choice was traditional potatoes goulash which is vegetables soup (mainly potatoes, carrots, onions) with a good taste! This dish really warmed my stomach and body since I got a cold and had a running nose at that time. I will visit here next time in Prague and are willing to recommend this place to others.

If you don't have limited budget and don't mind oily foods, you might enjoy eating here. For us personally it was a disappointment. Gluten-free burger is more less very oily patty with potatoes (no bun), the taste didn't convince me either and on top of that I had nausea. Thai curry was not worth the price either, you can definetely get cheaper (even bigger portion) and much tastier one at other places.

It s a pity that you didnt say anything when you were here(we always ask the customer if everything is Ok twice, once when he is eating and second time when he is paying), if its not Ok we could immediately change the order or cancel it when you were paying. P.S.S.: Jak píši v předchozí odpovědi slečno děkujeme za Vaší návštěvu moc nás to mrzí, že jste nebyla spokojená, všemu tomuhle se dalo zabránit (vyměnit jídlo,stornovat položku u placení) k Vaší spokojenosti (dámy jsou naučené se ptát, jednou když jídlo jíte a podruhé u placení), ale chápu že pro někoho jako jste vy (zkušená a vášnivá recenzentka) je příjemnější nám dát co proto v recenzi. My se snažíme držet pravidla, aby každý zákazník od nás odcházel spokojen a proto když je něco v nepořádku snažíme se to napravit, nejsme jako ostatní "najez se a vypadni" :-)

Read moreNikdy jsem jídlo "nereklamovala" tudíž mě tato možnost ani nenapadla, a co je důležitější tak na tohle jsme bohužel neměli čas. Už tak jsme byli trochu ve skluzu a případné stornováni, výměna atd by nám situaci moc neulehčila.
Jinak co se ceny jídel týče tak proti ní samotné nic nemám, ovšem za vyšší cenu očekávám něco lepšího.

Like the previous reviews say, really great food and super service at this vegan restaurant. I splurged and got a starter, main, dessert and a glass of wine. Came to around 600 ck, which is a little on the expensive side, but well worth it when it means have traditional Czech food that has been made vegan. Highly recommend!!!

I went to this restaurant on a very cold and snowy March evening with my non vegan friend. She got the lasagna and I got a burger. Both were absolutely amazing. We finished by sharing a traditional Czech vegan dessert. The price was very affordable and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant if you come to Prague.

This was slightly less cafe style as we’d found with several vegan places across Prague, and had a more traditional restaurant feel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Quite a few steps to get into the actual restaurant but it is worth it. The price also reflected the vibe, and was more in the mid range, with our starters costing 134-145Kč and mains costing around 250Kč. I loved that they served traditional Czech food so we ordered the potato goulash and “beef” in gravy with dumplings which was made with tempeh - so delicious! They also make an amazing cashew cheese which we had with our starter. Highly recommended!!

The location of the restaurant is great: Just by the castle. The staff was very nice an explained to us the soup and the burger of the day. We ordered as starters: soup of the day (vegetable with buckwheat), bruschetta and avocado tartar. Everything was great, but especially the bruschetta with tomato and homemade cashew cheese was delicious. As main we ordered Gulasch and Svíčková. The Gulasch was very nice, but also a little bit too spicy for my taste. The Svíčková had tempeh which went along great with the sauce and the sweetness of the cranberries sauce. The dumplings were also exellent and very filling.
