Wir haben zum Abholen einen Whöner, einen Special Burger (Onion King), eine große Portion Chili Cheese Fries und einen Brownie bestellt (und auch bezahlt). Ging alles super schnell, leider wurde der Brownie vergessen und uns ist es erst später aufgefallen. Nun ja, Fehler können passieren. Der Burger und die Pommes waren lecker, der Whöner war auch in Ordnung, hat mich aber nicht zu 100% überzeugt. Die 2 Mitarbeiter:innen waren sehr freundlich.

It was a 15 minute walk from the station. The unicorn burger was tasty. You can pay with creditcard. They serve the milkshake in a tall glass with a cherry which just looks really nice.

I liked the helpful staff and then I enjoyed the burger of the month. I forgot the name but it was a soy patty which I liked a lot because of the texture. Homemade vegan cheese inside was delightful. They were even so nice to tell me what it was made of!

Der beste vegane Fast Food-Laden in Bremen - Edit
Das Essen ist köstlich - die Fritten sind bremenweit unerreicht. Die Angestellten sind freundlich und die Preise fair. Eine nette Atmosphäre hat die Veganbar auch, auch wenn man wegen Corona derzeit nicht dort sitzen kann (leider gibt es auch keinen Außenbereich). Es gibt eine schön vielseitige Karte mit regulären Angeboten und eine ganze Reihe wechselnder Gerichte sowie Kuchen, Shakes etc. Der Besuch lohnt sich immer!

Der vegane Döner war sehr lecker und die Portion üppig. Fritten mit dem Cashewkäse auch mega gut. Milchshakes könnten etwas größer sein aber dennoch lecker. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn man in der Nähe ist.

Especially the monthly changing "Special Burgers" are amazing.

The Staff is amazing too. Not your average Hipster Place that exploits Students but a fair place run by locals.

Support Bremen's first vegan place! - Edit
Veganbar was Bremen's pioneer for vegan food. They serve all the tasty fast food, like burgers or döner, but also cream cake. Unfortunately, their place is very small. So due to Corona regulations, they can currently only offer food for takeaway. Additionally, the place is close to the central station, but kinda on the wrong side of it (not on the way to any of the touristy sights). However, if you like vegan junk food, I think it's definitely worth a small detour. I can especially recommend the (organic) fries with cashew "cheese" sauce.

Sadly, I was a bit disappointed by this place. The burger buns tasted old and except for the fish burger and the cheese sauce, it wasn't so wow. After eating there I just feel like I ate very unhealthy (which is true of course but this time not even satisfying in any way)
